The 2013 FX37 will be available with rear- or all-wheel-drive versions as well as a Limited Edition with all-wheel drive. The all-wheel-drive FX50 returns unchanged with the standard 390-hp, 5.0-liter V-8.
Other model-year changes to the midsize FX include the addition of Moving Object Detection to the available Around View Monitor camera system. Iridium Blue exterior color is now offered on all models except the Limited Edition, which is available only with Moonlight White exterior and Graphite interior color combination. The Java interior color is now available with Liquid Platinum and Graphite Shadow exterior colors.
The FX goes on sale next month. There’s no word yet on pricing.
The compact Infiniti EX crossover will also use the EX37 name for 2013 and be offered in four versions: EX37 with rear- or all-wheel drive and EX37 Journey with rear- or all-wheel drive. It is otherwise unchanged for the new model year and goes on sale this August.
