Nissan's GT-R Gets Even More Expensive for 2014
The coupe’s 545-horsepower, twin-turbocharged 3.8-liter V-6 returns for 2014. New this year are a host of suspension upgrades that Nissan says improve high-speed handling and ride comfort. Also new is a Premium Interior Package ($4,000) that adds hand-stitched red leather for the front seats as well as red trim on the instrument panel, steering wheel, doors, armrests and shifter.
In other Nissan news, the automaker also announced pricing for its all-wheel-drive CrossCabriolet, the unpopular convertible version of the Murano crossover. The automaker lowered its sticker by $2,545 for 2014 for a new base price of $42,840, including an $845 destination charge, which is only slightly higher than the topline all-wheel-drive Murano LE’s $42,085 price, including an $845 destination charge. The 2014 Murano CrossCabriolet is on sale now.
