The Associated Press is reporting that GM is still shopping the Saab brand and its new product pipeline, including the new 9-5 and the 9-4X crossover, to other buyers.

Beijing Automotive Industry Holdings was part of the failed group, which included Swedish supercar builder Koenigsegg, that was trying to buy Saab as a whole. It looks like the Chinese company and GM were able to salvage at least part of the deal. GM says there are other companies interested in Saab as a brand, but AP is reporting the automaker will shut down the brand if a deal isn’t finalized.
