Charging an electric vehicle just got a little bit easier for Porsche EV owners. Over 97,000 ChargePoint and ChargePoint partner EV charging stations have now been integrated into the Porsche Charging Service, enabling users to navigate to those stations and pay for their charging from within the My Porsche app without the need to install a separate network-specific app or fumble with other payment methods.

It’s a huge expansion of the Porsche Charging Service. The brand says this brings the total number of available charging stations up to 102,000, with plans to keep adding more stations in 2025. ChargePoint’s network of partners includes the EV Connect, EVgo, Flo, EvGateway and Ionna networks.

While newer Porsches will incorporate Tesla-style North American Charging Standard plugs starting in 2026, the majority of the ChargePoint network chargers offer Combined Charging System DC fast charging plugs and J1772-style plugs for AC charging that are compatible with current Porsche models without the need for an adapter.

Users of the Porsche Charging Service who have either the one-year trial period or the Premium plan can access ChargePoint stations as well as ChargePoint’s roaming partners by activating those options within the My Porsche app. Users with the Base plan will gain access to ChargePoint’s network of stations and partner stations in the summer.
