The best no-prize award in the automotive blogosphere finds its way to Canada this week. Glenn, a new Saturn Outlook owner, left an informative missive about his new mode of transportation. We always find it interesting to hear real-world stories about the first 500 miles driven or trips to camping sites. You can read Glenn’s full consumer review below, and you can write your own review here.

“Just picked up a Saturn Outlook XE All-Wheel Drive a few days ago and just love it. The more I am behind the wheel the more it grows on me and makes me realize how great the performance and value is.

The handling is just amazing for a car this weight, and it steers and stops just like something weighing a lot less. Power and fuel economy are a good mix, and the all-wheel drive allows us to go off of the asphalt to our camping site without worrying about getting stuck on less-than-perfect trail roads. The interior is just gorgeous and makes you feel like you are in a much more expensive vehicle. The dash has great visibility, and the driver controls are all easy to reach and use.

I took a good look under the car as well and can say that this is one well-built vehicle with lots of very beefy suspension parts and workmanship that is of very high quality.

So far we have driven about 500 miles and every time I get behind the wheel it makes me feel good about the selection I made. We tried several different foreign and domestic models in the same class, but I can attest to the Outlook as the absolute best bang for the buck, bar none.”
