Toyota is recalling approximately 394,000 examples of its Sequoia SUV and Tundra pickup truck over an issue with the multimedia system display.

Affected vehicles include model-year 2022-25 Tundras and model-year 2023-25 Sequoias. The software in the 14-inch multimedia system display may cause the screen to turn half green, fully green or fully black, which may limit the driver’s visibility when in Reverse and increase the risk of a collision.

As a fix, dealers will update the multimedia system software in affected vehicles for free. Toyota will notify owners by late November, but those with further questions can contact the automaker at 800-331-4331, visit Toyota.com/recall, call the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration’s vehicle-safety hotline at 888-327-4236, or visit its website to check your vehicle identification number and learn more.
