I took my truck in for a check engine light for the emissions system. It was determined that a sensor in the DPF needed replacement. The sensor rarely comes out without breaking off in the DPF, which the service tech told me ahead of time. The sensor did indeed break off, so the truck needed a new DPF. The issue was that GM didn't have one in stock anywhere in the USA, which is crazy to me. The issue is that the tech called me and said I needed front brakes and rotors because the pads were metal-to-metal. Jerry Siener has done all of my service work since the truck was purchased new in 2019. The last service was 2000 miles ago, and the service report said the brakes were fine. This tells me that the service tech who did my last service did not measure the brake linings, as there is no way the brakes went from fine to metal-to-metal in 2000 miles. This is not the first time Jerry Siener has pencil-whipped a service record. Previously, I had numerous issues with power loss, multiple check engine codes, and the truck going into limp mode. I thought to myself that the truck had never had an air filter replacement, so I pulled the filter cover and found the filter so dirty that it had sucked into the intake. The filter was never checked, nor was it suggested to be replaced on any of my service records. I am seriously concerned about what damage might have been done to the engine due to this negligence. I am not convinced that it didn't have something to do with the last emission issue with the DPF. So, long story short, I have lost all confidence in Jerry Sieners' service department to do the work with any form of integrity at all.

0/10 experience buying from Jerry Seiner GMC.
0/10 experience buying from Jerry Seiner GMC. I purchased a 2022 GMC Yukon XL Denali from Jerry Seiner at the end of July. Because I was purchasing a used car, I wanted to be sure it had a stamp of approval from a certified dealer. The mechanical components of the car were checked and in good condition, plus it was a certified pre-owned vehicle. The only concern I had was the accessories and I specifically asked “should I go down a trim level so I don’t have to worry about the automatic running boards?” The sales rep ensured he’s “never seen them go out on a Yukon XL”. I asked him if the dealer would replace them if they did and he said “they’re covered under the certified warranty if anything happens to them the first few months.” I trusted him and went through with purchasing the car. (Not to mention the used sales car manager was as unimpressive as they come which is saying a lot for the used car world). When buying the car I also did something I never do, and that is add the extended warranty. The finance manager said that if anything mechanical or electrical goes out, they’ll repair / replace it for $50 and it’s the best warranty for peace of mind, so I opted to buy it. Fast forward 2 weeks and the power running boards go out on the drivers side. I called the dealership and the receptionist was super friendly and told me sales should take care of it for me and make it right. I felt pretty good that she was on my side and I left a message with the sales manager explaining the situation. I didn’t get a call back from the sales manager, so I called again and got in touch with the guy in charge of fleet sales, explained my situation and he said they should take care of me but to try the used car manager again. So I tried calling back to get in touch with used car manager (mind you I still don’t even have my plates yet and they won’t return my call). In the meantime the registration team calls me twice about the title not being sent in on time and had me drive all the way back to the dealership to get new temp tags. Still nothing from the used car manager and still no working running boards. I reached out again and just scheduled a time to get the running boards looked at in hopes the sales manager would help me solve it. They finally get it in and the running boards are magically not covered by the extended warranty and despite the reassurances at the time of purchasing, none of the $1,209.04 repair is covered. Khan, the used car manager, is about as useful as a hole in the bottom of a boat. Stay away.

DO NOT BuY A CAR from these lying manipulative people.
DO NOT BuY A CAR from these lying manipulative people. My daughter went in and was extremely honest about her budget. She test drove a car. They told her out the door price. She came back and ask to take it to a mechanic. Everything was going great. Albert took it to Frank. The absolute worst rudest individual I have ever come across. He was so mean and inconsiderate and told me it was only 400 dollars more than they had told her. I have never been so disrespected in my life. He made my daughter cry for 30 minutes she was so upset by his attitude. I called Albert to follow up he didn’t tell me they removed the car. He said he would get back with me. Never heard from him. I had to follow up the next day and then he told me that they turned around and gave the car to a different dealership. What what? Horrid people. Do not work with this dealership. Khan, Albert and Frank are the worst. Frank should be fired!

They recommended a truck that didn’t meet my needs. I had to trade it in on a bigger truck. A 1500 for a 3500.

I bought my car here and have never had a bad experience
I bought my car here and have never had a bad experience the advisors and technicians have never been pushy on upsells they give the facts and their opinion on if it is an immediate need or just something to keep an eye on. And the prepaid maintenance options are less expensive than most shops and they do great work.

I like that they offer shuttle service to and from their shop, I wish they had some free snacks for when I wait and this trip took longer than expected and I noticed that several people that came in after me got done sooner than I did and I was just there for an oil change. I think next time I will take the ride home, but the price is very reasonable and I will be back.

Unfortunately, this was my first bad experience with
Unfortunately, this was my first bad experience with Jerry Seiner of Southtowne. I went in for a basic service on my 2022 GMC Sierra 3500 Denali HD and everything went well during the service. I waited for the vehicle at the dealership and when it was finished, I got in and drove back to work. As soon as I got out, I started talking to a co worker who met me in front of my truck. I told him I just got back from getting my oil changed and happened to look over and notice a 3-4” gouge on my front bumper. This was not there before. My truck had ZERO exterior flaws, as I’m meticulous about my truck. I immediately called the dealership and talked with Jeremy in service. I sent him photos and he reassured me that “we will definitely make this right”. I’ve emailed him multiple times now with NO RESPONSE. I’m hoping they contact me this week because up until this incident I was loyal to this dealership. If they make it right, I’ll stick with them, otherwise, I’m done with these guys. I’ll take my business to the Salt Lake Dealer.

Don't be fooled by just low prices - they all pay the same for vehicles. These guys know how to order new trucks with the right packages that won't cost you an extra arm and a leg. Save thousands by knowing how to order the right option packages on your next vehicle. Some dealers don't know how and you either get a truck with too many stupid options or not enough.
