I have been rather cautious when purchasing pre-owned vehicles since a car purchase represents a significant buying decisions and since I prefer to buy without any financing. In short, selecting the wrong seller can really hurt you and be a very risky transaction. Mr. Michael Alibrando demonstrated the highest level of honesty, integrity and transparency I could ask for throughout the entire purchasing process (introduction, negotiation, purchase decision & signing and deliver process). Since there were some issues to be taken care of AFTER the signing, it was very refreshing to see him living-up to the discussed commitments AFTER it was done. You do not see type of professionalism often, even when you purchase from the authorized brand dealers. I can highly recommend Mr. Michael Alibrando, representing Phillips, to any person who is seeking to buy a pre-owned top of the line vehicle at the very best available value. Trust me, I did my homework and this review has been fully earned by Mr. Michael Alibrando.

Wonerful Experience
This was a great experience buying a car. This was our first time buying a car and we looked at a lot of cars and knew our stuff. We know we had a great car for a great price. We were in and out in an 2 hours from test drive to signing. Chris R. treated us like family, was kind, respectful, extremely knowledgeable, and fought to get us a great interest rate. Buying On Line
I've never purchased a car sight unseen so was apprehensive. I dealt with Theresa and the whole experience was very straightforward. She went above and beyond in dealing with my Credit Union to get the deal closed. Vey responsive to all of my questions and put me in contact to have the car shipped. The vehicle was exactly as described. Best experience I've ever has with a car dealer. I've never written a review before but felt this was justified. I would highly recommend Phillips Auto.

Be careful if you buy over the internet
I was very excited to find an amazing Cayman S at Phillips and started working with Theresa the Sales Manager on putting together a deal. As we discussed the various options of doing a trade with my care and the process for shipping my car to California from Seattle it really sounded like it would be best to try and sell my car. Theresa agreed and said she'd hold the car until the end of the week. As the week went buy I had a couple inquiries and one guy who said he would come on the weekend. I called Theresa and asked if I could have the weekend and she said yes, I told her I would call her on Sunday to close the deal. When I called on Sunday Theresa said she was home sick and she would call me on Monday. Monday morning I sent a message to see if she was feeling better and in the office, she replied that she was feeling better and they had sold the car that morning. I couldn't believe it! Not once did she tell me that I was in a position that I would lose the car. We were two people trying to figure out the best possible way to get the deal done. She then tried to explain that she held the car for longer than she should have but I reminded her that if I had agreed to trade my car her process of me shipping my car to them for their approval would have taken over a week alone. I had told her before the weekend that I would fly down on Friday buy the car. In the end, the owner had someone come in with a full price offer (they had only given me $1000 off) and any dealings with me didn't matter. I had also asked for the date code on the tires and they said they would have to put it in the shop to get them, I never did get that answer. It was my fault for being apprehensive and cautious about buying a car over the Internet but I thought we had a deal and I never thought I would lose the car. Be careful with these guys.

It's very disappointing to see a review from this perspective buyer that I personally worked with; this after the lengthy amount of time and effort that I gladly put forward assisting him. From the first email inquiry we received on 10/27 on our 2008 Cayman S there the subsequent 15 plus email's; telephone calls and texts I received over the following 13 days. With accommodating this perspective buyers questions, thoughts, requests and needs there the process. From him looking to trade a '07 BMW Z w/ 88k miles from out of state, to not trading; to requesting various finance options; transport quotes; along with all his various questions and thoughts. All with my upmost attention to assisting and responding with specific details to his questions and needs. An agreed upon offer was accepted and I agreed to hold the Cayman, placing it into "Pending Sale Status" for a week as he was looking to lowering his asking price on his trade and hoping to sell it private party. I received a call asking for a two day extension as he had a buyer coming to see his private party sale BMW; I agreed. I received a text on day two, Sunday 11/8 "The Dude turned out to be a flake on my car" followed by a second text "Make me buy a ticket and come buy that car on Friday". We had already spent quite a bit of time on the details of this purchase along with what had been an agreed upon purchase price and timeframe. I had overly accommodated this perspective buyer's requests and needs for over 13 days who did not have a deposit on the Cayman; no Credit Application completed and there were no purchase funds received. The "Pending Sale Status" was removed as we could not hold it for yet another week and the Cayman sold shortly thereafter. I have worked for over 16 years as the Manager of Phillips Auto that has been in business for over 35 years. We sell and deliver over 50 vehicles a month with 40% of our sales to out of state and overseas buyers. We take very seriously the process of working with our out of state and overseas buyers since they typically do not come to our dealership showroom and therefore look to be as clear and concise in our communications and discussions with the upmost integrity and professionalism.
No haggle, fast paperwork, no sales push for extra
We had a car in mind on arrival. They primarily sell exotic so a quick proof of credit worthiness before we did much of anything else. Once we proved we were serious, they pulled the car into the showroom for a buyer inspection under the lights, then let us take the car for a drive. After the test drive, they put it back in the showroom for one more buyer inspection. 10 minutes to discuss pricing for the new and trade, 10 more minutes for paperwork and we were off. That was it! No waiting 30 minutes, repeatedly, every time the salesman goes to talk over your offer with the "sales manager". I have NEVER bought a car so quickly, with less pressure, and without all the add-on promotions you normally get from a traditional dealer. You'll never get out of a traditional auto dealership as quick as this unless maybe you're paying cash. Even then, traditional dealers are going to push you for all sorts if extended warrantees, paint and interior protection, etc., etc. I drove 70 miles to buy this car and would go back the 70 miles to purchase another in a heartbeat.
