Schumacher Buick GMC of West Palm Beach

UPDATE TO PREVIOUS REVIEW RECAP….. imagine placing an order for an $80,000 GMC truck from Schumacher GMC in West Palm in the color you selected only to have that color changed by someone at the dealership without your knowledge prior to the order being submitted to GM for production. That is exactly what happened. Then image that that Sales Manager Dana Dennis and Sales Consultant Alfred Paulding never say a word about the change they made until the day the truck was ready to be picked up 9 weeks later and that the buyer could take it or leave it as they would sell the truck to someone else. How unprofessional can you get. That is also exactly what happened. UPDATE - Apparently management at Schumacher GMC reads these reviews as someone higher on the management team contacted the buyer on their day off to agree to pay for the truck to be wrapped in the color chosen on the initial order submitted as was requested by the buyer. A fair decision by Schumacher. Sunday May 28, 2023 the buyer went to the dealership to pick up the truck as instructed. The unprofessional and childish behavior by Dana Dennis and Alfred Paulding was evident from the beginning….perhaps they got their hands slapped or lost some money due to their behavior….not sure by their was no apology for their deceitful behavior in changing the color ordered. VERY DISAPPOINTING! In fact Dana Dennis never even made the attempt to meet the buyer face to face while in the dealership….how childish and unprofessional for someone who is supposed to represent a dealership as a Sales Manager to behave this way. Thank you to the management team who stepped up and did the right thing…it is greatly appreciated.

What a pleasure doing business with Schumacher GMC - the purchase of my new Denali was seamless and Richard Sander made the entire process enjoyable!

BUYER BEWARE…… THESE PEOPLE ARE CROOKS. They practice built and switch and sell your vehicle out from under you. GO ELSEWHERE…..GMC will be contacted reading the most recent experience of ordering a truck and Alfred and his sales team changing the color submitted without advising. It wasn’t until the truck was delivered that Alfred advised the color was changed…..clearly bait and switch by this reprehensible dealership.

From setting up the service appt to the actual service, the process was seamless. Communication is priority. Service advisor Erick has worked with me for several years and is consistently courteous and professional keeping me apprised throughout my time at the dealership. Kudos to all the staff.

The dealership location is nice and welcoming, the technicians are skilled, but the highlight for me is my personal Service Coordinator, Devin Cotler! He has surpassed all of my expectations for professionalism, knowledge, guidance and overall a genuinely caring person. Rare qualities today. He’s the reason I keep coming back to Volvo Schumacher. He gets 5 STARS across the board.
