This place is about as dishonest as they coem.

This place is about as dishonest as they coem. For us it was the finance guys, we arrive with a pre-approval for Capital One in hand, they refused to honor it unless we first completed their in house finance papers telling us that "this is how it works, we run your credit once and then attach the pre-approval to that". Of course this was a lie, they applied for their own in house credit and then when they could not beat the rate Cap One offered they took it upon themselves to shop around resulting in 5 hard pulls on our credit record. We were very explicit at the start of the process that we did not want more than one pull but they don't care. All the usual dishonest tricks, they bounce you from person to person so everyone has plausible deniability and they use high pressure tactics to try manipulate you. My advice, find somewhere more honest or if you must go here don't believe anything they tell you.

Dinhonest finance guys.

Dinhonest finance guys. We went in with a pre-approval from Capital One. They told us that we 'had' to fill in their own paperwork and that this was standard. They told us they would run our credit one time and would then attach that to the pre-approval. Instead they took their own initiative to 'shop around' for loans resulting in 5 hard inquiries on my credit. Told me some story that Capital One was not good as they took 6 months to pay up. Lied about only one credit pull, lied about lending process, coerced into signing forms we didnt want to.

There are good things and some bad things.

There are good things and some bad things. We flew in from Colorado to buy a vehicle. Their pre-process communication is okay. It could use some work. Because they didn't get back to us sooner, the flight into the area went up significantly in cost from what it was. However, the communication regarding the loan process was good. They worked to get it under contract so it was reserved for us. The communication about how it works from California to Colorado could be better, but I fault that on the confusing nature of how California works. The great: They picked us up from the Airport in style. We really appreciated that level of excellence. The process in the dealership was relatively smooth and straightforward especially when working with an outside lender. They were not pushy with any extra warranties/service. They mentioned it, but didn't push it more than once. Although they did sneak in a VIN charge despite telling us that our price was out the door. The loan process had to be redone in order to add both of us to the registration and title paperwork. That we will take part blame on us. However, the finance manager worked hard to get us everything we needed for our state and get the paperwork corrected. So a little stress but resolved. The Bad: I don't know how this vehicle was "certified," as we have already needed to get our massage function fixed on the passenger side as we were told it was a bad motor--and it was making that louder sound upon test driving. We also have other issues that should have been resolved such as severe wind noise (that test drive didn't reveal) and road noise. Our camera image has a red hue to it as well. And the vehicle wasn't detailed very well. Also concerning is a crackle/whine when accelerating especially when under load. Also the driver side seat has reset its bolsters, while driving, at times (22 way seats). Thus, I would say if you are going to buy from them and they promise it was "meticulously inspected" get it 3rd party inspected. Don't rely on them telling you its in good working order. And if you are buying out of state, see if you can coordinate a 3rd party to inspect it as apparently Lincoln/service department cannot be trusted to accurately report issues. I would say consider buying with them, but do your due diligence with the quality of the vehicle. So while some of our experiences were good or excellent-- the initial presentation of themselves and the process. The lasting impression and the concern of its overall condition isn't good.

Sneaky with charges for "optional" items

Sales staff were great, and happy with my used car, but when I got home I realized the finance person snuck in a $199.00 dollar charge for an "optional" item that I didn't agree to (some sort of security etching, which doesn't even appear to be on the car). Tried calling them to discuss, but no call back (no surprise there). My bad for not looking at the paperwork with a fine tooth comb, but you shouldn't have to expect to get cheated...unfortunately this IS how they do business apparently, and fits the stereotype of the untrustworthy car salesman.

Uneducated dealers! Talked to two people and neither knew about the trim levels of the Navigators or Expeditions. Their display Expedition had a dead battery for weeks! Hello, fix it! Sales person made me (and my newborn baby) wait forever while he “pulled a car around”, 1/2 hour later it shows up and turns out to be the managers that was SO beat up! it was a trashed demo car that was WAY overpriced (new ones for the price at Fairfield dealership!). Horrible service & horrible cars!

I was in the process of buying a vehicle remotely from...

I was in the process of buying a vehicle remotely from the internet sales division. During the process of financing and buying the vehicle I asked the sales person to verify what items were on the van. I was buying this van for construction work and need a tow pkg for my trailer. I discovered that they were falsely advertising a factory tow package that wasn't included with the vehicle. I asked for them to install that option since it was advertised and they refused. I feel like they are not a trust worthy dealership and I would be very cautious in using them. I also had to repeatedly ask for a copy of the contract to see the breakdown on finance charges as well as the other cost and never did get one. I did manage to get them to come down from a $718 payment to a $630. I had to ask him multiple times to shop for a better interest rate. Watch out for the bait and switch not a trust worthy stealership!!!!

Lied about all drive on a Explorer I bought.

I went and purchased a Ford Explorer for my wife which I was told was all wheel drive. I had full conversation with the sales rep about the benefits of a 4 wheel drive in the snow. Turns out the guy had lied to me or didn’t know it was on a two wheel drive. I went back and told them just to sell me a brand new car and put everything I paid for the original towards the new one. But, they are trying to short me approximately $14k on doing the swap. So, for them to correct the issue and “help” me out, I will be losing my down payment I originally made and will not be refunded the taxes and fees. This was there mistake, I would have never bought the SUV if it was not a 4 wheel drive. I told the guy that was my only requirement I had.
