It has been well over 30 days and I still have no title for my car. So far I have been lied to, I made a 2500.00 deposit with my credit card, the Understanding was they would hold a check for 13K until my insurance check came from our totaled car, instead Mike cashed 2 13K checks, put one in drop box and I had to come back next day to get it. I called my bank to make sure they were cancelled. My only request was to clean and detail the car, the previous owner had dogs and there's an odor. After them taking the car 3 times, there was still sand in the glove box, and they tore some styrofoam off the cover for the spare tire in the back. Next is the title car purchased 2/4/24 and as of March 31st. If you call corporate you don't get a person, they defer to the bad dealership. If you call the dealership, they do blame game and forward you to people who do not answer the phone. Don't buy a car here, they are completely inept at paperwork, detailing, and keeping their word. AND they were suppose to give us 2 keys, we had to purchase the second key for about 200.00.

Our salesman Brian Abel was great and very helpful. Our problems started with the Sales Manager Matt...he was a condescending and rude person to deal with...our credit score was solid and we were trying to trade into a new CRV with no money down and just our first payment at signing...we prefer to lease cars and this is something we have done SEVERAL times in the past with Honda. In fact, this was our fifth Honda lease but our first trip to Auto Nation Honda. At one point he became VERY aggressive with us (an old school technique that we ABSOLUTELY didn't fall for...in fact, we called him out on it which made him even more difficult to deal with) after haggling back and forth over ridiculous items like getting 12K mileage (standard in EVERY lease we have ever had with other dealers) instead of 10K he finally just walked away from us. Next up was the Business Manager Dustin, he picked up where Matt left off...arrogant and rude...at one point when we mentioned we had received two other offer letters from local dealers which were offering the 12K miles, sign and drive, etc...his response was..."well then go to them". So we did. We literally drove 20 mins down the road to larger more established dealer where we had leased our last car from and they gave us a MUCH better deal, cheaper monthly payment, etc. I will NEVER go back to this dealership. Old school techniques like pressuring us to buy and trying to intimidate us is how this dealership does business. Just skip the hassler and go to another dealership. No pressure, no intimidation, none of the snarky stuff like "let me talk to my manager"... The salesman was frustrated and embarassed when we left. If you buy or lease a car from this dealership BE AWARE...there is a better deal down the road.

Auto Nation Honda Clearwater do a wonderful job my automobile - it's a 2007 and runs perfectly. Staff are efficient and pleasant. Ken Fliger is superior in his job.
