Went in on a Saturday afternoon found a GMC Yukon we liked. We had to leave for an appointment, texted back and forth with salesman, settled on a payment and was approve.. Was told "paperwork is done!" They are closed on Sunday, went back Monday afternoon (they knew we were coming) and we were 10 mins away (over an hour drive) and they called and said someone else is buying it and we could come and wait to see if their deal fell thru! No Thank You! Terrible way to do business!! Would not recommend them to anyone!

Rude customer service
These people are liars, thieves, and were overall extremely rude to me in the service department. Money was stolen out of my car and once I brought it up, they were defensive and did nothing to assist in helping. They did not offer to pull camera footage or speak with any individual that had driven my car over the course of getting it fixed. The lock box for tow truck drivers was also missing from the front, and the management told him to leave the keys in my car unlocked over the weekend. I am very displeased with my overall experience, excessive cost for service, and lack of respect for their customers. Will never be doing business with them again.

All about the money
Was pre approved throught capital one so all I had to do was pick a vehicle. Decided on a Ford escape they had listed on internet for 19594. So I go up there test drive the vehicle he brings me a sheet of paper the sale price was for like 18400 because capital one wouldn't do 19 payments were gonna be 560 a month with no money down okay told him I wanted to wait till my wife got off work so he tells me to keep the car till then. So me n wife go up there he brings same piece of paper with 19700 as sale price with 1000 dollars down and payments still 560 while I was gone ran my credit like 7 times to find someone to finance at more then listed price when I coulda just signed paper earlier for 18400 with no money down. Oh when I ask him about the price he tells me that 1000 dollars don't even matter. So I tell him I'm not interested no more after he try to pull one over proceeds to tell me he can tAke it off lol no thank u went the next day bought a car from Toyota dealership

Do Not buy from them!!
Scam!! We were there with my daughter , test drive the CRV , she was fixing to buy the car & sign papers when the sales manager, who WOULD NOT come talk to us, would only sell the car for $3000 dollars over the sticker price!! He wouldn’t budge.. when confronted by us , we had to literally walk into his office to demand that he talk with us, he stated that we didn’t have to buy the car, go somewhere else , low inventory means he can sell for what he wants... He was the rudest person we’ve EVER dealt with!!! My daughter that’s a first year teacher was APPALLED to have someone that’s supposed to be professional to be so dishonest & smug!!! He even told us thank you with a grin when we told him how rude he was!!!! Tried to get the owners email , when we called later, to be told he is retiring.. so no luck !!! DO NOT buy a car from these people!!! They’re so dishonest!!! Paar, the salesman who tried to help us , was the one shining light from this company. Mr Paar was very nice and apologetic but the sales manager was low class!!! My regret was not getting his name!! Starkville, MS Amy White

Horrible Runarounds Only
The salesman kept offering and taking back price offers. Essentially, he would make an offer and then take it back saying he could not change the original asking price. Turned out to be a huge waste of time for me, and a waste of time for him, too. A never-ending circle of offering a deal and changing it back to the original price before we could agree on a fair deal.

Worth the 3.5 hour drive - No hassle
Drove 3.5 hours & purchased a used 2013 Honda Fit listed on the Internet. Ravi, the Internet Sales Manager, was friendly and helpful, along with the rest of the staff. I learned years ago to walk away if I can't get the deal I want/need and was prepared to do so. Thankfully, I didn't have to walk, but drove away in the exact make/model/color I had been shopping for. I love the car and highly recommend Carl Hogan Honda based on my experience.
Worth the 3.5 hour drive - No hassle
Drove 3.5 hours & purchased a used 2013 Honda Fit listed on the Internet. Ravi, the Internet Sales Manager, was friendly and helpful, along with the rest of the staff. Thankfully, I didn't have to walk, but drove away in the exact make/model/color I had been shopping for. I love the car and highly recommend Carl Hogan Honda based on my experience.

Great Service Department!
God, I miss this dealer. I left Mississippi a few years ago, and my two local dealers are truly awful. I never purchased a car from Carl Hogan, but had two cars serviced there for the couple of years I lived in Starkville. On one occasion, the pulled the throttle body off of my '97 CR-V and scrubbed it with a toothbrush and brake cleaner. Most dealers would try to sell you an expensive (and not overly effective) "engine flush". They went old school. They let me take loaners back to Starkville twice while having larger repairs (tires and timing belt). That shocked me since I didn't even purchase car from them (few dealers give loaners at all anymore). Their pricing was very fair. In fact, they ended up having the best prices on tires for my Accord. I'm so distrustful of my local dealers, that I even called Drew in the service department to try to figure out if my dealer was being honest with me. He was careful not to throw the other dealer under the bus (which I understand), but he told me how the situation would be handled at his dealership. He was super helpful and polite as usual. I also contacted them to get my radio code. I had a dead battery, couldn't find my code, and my local dealer wanted $50 to look it up in the computer (I had already gotten the serial number of the back of the radio). I called carl Hogan, told them who I was and explained the situation and I had the code in about 10 seconds. Don't form a bad opinion based on their terrible commercials (maybe they are better now); they offer great customer service.

Disappointed
Me and my husband tired to buy a used car not once but twice and it was the same car and then they told me a price over the phone and we drove from Amory to buy it but when we got there they wanted more and that's just not right we were going to pay for the car on the spot too!! Once again I'm very disappointed I really hope u can make it right with me so I can give u my business !!!

Monica, This is Jim the manager you spoke to by phone Saturday morning. I'm sorry we had a misunderstanding about the total out the door price. I thought we were clear when I gave you the total amount financed after your down payment. I thought you understood the price was plus tax and fees,since I gave you the total financed after down payment. If no financing was needed it would be the amount you told me to put down plus the total I gave you. Sorry for any confusion. Please call me if I can help in the future.

My family has purchased it's last 18 vehicles from the same dealer. Deciding to purchase a Honda, I had to look elsewhere which led me to Carl Hogan Honda. Ahhhhmaaaazed is all I can say!! Fabulous dealership!! Water, popcorn, everything was so clean and sparkly!! Everyone was so friendly and so eager to help! So many cars to look at...inventory was incredible!! Jim and Bronson worked hard to get me the very best price and they were upfront with me from the start. There was none of that back n forth malarkey which I had been dealing with for 3 days at a dealership in Tupelo. Same car, lower price, dealed and sealed in less than an hour!! Can't beat that! I've had my accord for 8 months now and I have to tell you, Drew and Spence have gone above and beyond anything I've ever experienced when getting a vehicle serviced. I've never been more satisfied and will definitely be back when I'm ready to purchase again!!

I purchased my first new car from Carl Hogan-Honda. The experience was an overall "10". Jim Parham, Ashley and the entire staff were great.
