Ford Eco Sport 2020

Slipped in a Warranty that was $2,400.00 that I didn't want. Never told me that they didn't register the car. So I was driving illegally. Then when they get me the paper work for the registration it is so ridiculously high, they gave the state a number that I didn't even pay for the car. My trade-in was $500.00. I paid $20,000.00 for the car and they tell the state that the car is worth $24,620.00. Not a good place to do business, to many hidden costs that they don't tell you about and charges that they just add on in!!!! Not Happy!!! Buyer BEWARE

Dealer response

Gary I personally reviewed the paperwork in the deal. We do a menu and disclosure with every deal to make sure our customers are presented with every opportunity to protect their investment and themselves from any unforeseen expenses. You signed the disclosure form agreeing to the Vehicle Service Contract. Regarding the state fees; No dealership has control over the state and what they charge. You are referring to the NC property tax. They have their own guidelines. On preowned vehicles I believe they use NADA retail and on New I believe they go by the MSRP of the vehicle. I am sorry that you feel as though we took advantage of you but, we did everything we are required by the State and Federal government to insure that we operate ethically and morally. Regardless, I hope this clears things up for you

Awesome Car-Buying Experience

I was able to be prequalified and get the car that I wanted. The process was easy, Katelynn was wonderful with helping me through the entire experience, and overall the customer service that I received was great!

OUTSTANDING

Asheboro Ford is magically OUTSTANDING. From my salesman, Lawrence Phillips, who can tell you every detail about ANY car on the lot, to the sales manager and account manager, frankly all the way up to the Dealership owner. These gentle people are outstanding! I just purchased my Sixth vehicle from them. They always take the time to listen to my wants and needs in a vehicle and payment. Never putting me into a payment I can't afford or a vehicle that makes me settle for less than I want. Service is prompt, completely transparent pricing and above all done with a please and thank you attitude towards my convenience. I've not met a single employee that has not totally impressed me. No I'm not being paid a cent to tell you the truth. Soooo May the good Lord bless you and hold you in the palm of his hand.

Take your Business elsewhere

Worst customer service I have ever received/ We bought a used Ford. When we got there to test drive the sales man Lawrence had the vehicle already started ( Yes our bad that's a big red flag). We test dive the truck everything was great. We bought the truck everything was great. After we bought the car we got into the car to leave. At this time the dealership was closing and the sales man was driving off (BEFORE WE DROVE OFF THE LOT). We get in and realize the keys are not fully functional and the back door sensor is broken (you can turn it off by pressing "ok" as Lawrence did when we first pulled up and the car was on). He stopped as he saw we has and issue and he just said its fine. Well I call the service desk and they were extremely friendly (Monty was at least). Monty tells us to bring it by because he wants to make it right and make sure everything is good (mine you we live 45min away). So my brings it in 2 weeks later since we work full time. No one again is wearing a mask. They tell him that they are not going to fix it that that we are lying about not being told of the issue... Chris Prichet yells in my husbands face without a mask on claiming my husband must have gotten amnesia. I call to speak to the owner but he is never available so i get to talk to Mike Dua who ignored our complaints and speaks down to me and continues to call me a liar about it not being disclosed. When I tell him he is a liar and that his staff should be wearing masks he then tries to push his political views on me saying that masks are an overstep of the government and tell me since i am calling him a liar the conversation is over and he hung up.... He is a grown man! I don't understand why we can't be treated with respect and human decency and our concerns over safety cant be addressed nicely. It's so frustrating to call a place where you purchased a vehicle for 17+K and be treated this way. Take your business elsewhere! I cant believe they are even still in business with the way the treat their customers. Honestly, we would have been fine paying to fix it if everyone was just respectful we are not the ones making it a big deal we just wanted to know the problems and drive off the lot with confidence. Instead we left feeling like we didnt make a good purchase and that they wont fix anything.
