Tom was great but the guy who handled my paper work i was not thrilled with. He was not very warm or friendly. He was just interested in completing the paper work not explaining anything. Tom came in and advised to take a different warranty which was a better deal.

Buyer Beware!

Buyer Beware! I have been a satisfied customer of Twin City for over 25 years, but this time they crossed the line! History - I purchased a brand-new 2015 Jeep Wrangler, mainly because of the lifetime warranty. I always had my vehicle serviced at Twin City, ensuring all my records were on file. My experience with them had been great, and I used to recommend them to others. However, since their move, I seriously question their customer loyalty. Recently, I went in for a routine oil change and asked them to check my TPMS (tire pressure monitoring system) light. They assured me they would take care of it. Later, I received a call from the service rep, who mentioned that my Jeep was approaching the 100,000-mile mark and needed a spark plug change. Wanting to stay on top of maintenance, I approved the service. My Jeep was 10 years old but had yet to reach 100,000 miles and ran perfectly. The next day, I picked up my vehicle only to find the TPMS light was still on. When I pointed this out, the service rep insisted it had been fixed and would turn off soon. It never did. I returned, and after checking with the mechanic, they admitted it had been overlooked. Really? I brought my Jeep in for only two things—an oil change and fixing the TPMS light—yet they missed one but made sure to complete the expensive spark plug replacement. When I asked them to finally fix what they originally agreed to, they came back saying the TPMS module needed replacement—for over $400! Had I known that, I would have prioritized that repair instead of the spark plugs, which weren’t due yet. Frustrated, I declined the TPMS repair. At this point, I even questioned whether they had actually changed my oil. The service rep assured me they had—laughable at this point. Fast forward a month, and I noticed oil all over my driveway after the snow melted. I took the Jeep back, only to be told, “It’s not our fault; it’s coming from your oil cooler. You need a replacement—for $1,500.” I had never had an oil leak in 10 years! Coincidentally, the leak appeared right after their oil change? Suspicious. I reminded them that I had a lifetime warranty, which should cover it. They said they needed to submit a claim, which would take 2-3 days. After a week with no update, I called, only to be told they were still waiting, 10 days passed—still no word. Neither my service rep nor the service manager ever called me back. So, I left a few messages for Nate Barrett, and to this day, I’ve never received a response. The only 2 helpful employees were a different service rep, who was very apologetic, and a sales Manager, Mike Jaeger, who reassured me he would look into it and offered me (3) free oil changes and a loaner becaues of the delay with "NO" communication from the service Rep or service manager, I figured he knew it was wrong what they were doing and bad service means no repeat customers. Finally, on day 11, I got a call from Jim Manos, one of the other sales managers, which started out good because he stated that it would be covered. He admitted I had taken great care of my vehicle, he could see it on their records, but called back and said it was weird because there is a gap on the oil change record, "just one conveniently," which then showed my last oil change slightly overdue—so the warranty company refused to cover the repair. Excuse me? I had all my services done with them! Apparently, they had failed to enter one of my oil changes into their records, costing me big time. To make matters worse, I got a quote for the same repair at another shop —for only $500, while Twin City wanted $1,500! When I declined their overpriced repair, Jim Manos had the audacity to ask if I wanted to sell my Jeep to them. Seriously? After they screwed me over? Disrespectful. I’m not saying they were always bad—I had great experiences over the past 25 years, but I am a 20-year vet with (3) tours and integrity is everything!

Chuck, we apologize for the negative experience with us. Please reach out to Nate Barrett at nate.barrett@drivechariot.com to further chat about this situation.

Very disappointed with the business.

Very disappointed with the business. We had finalized the car for the price listed in the website, when about to make payment next day they said I need to purchase Ziebart protection for ($1999). They said it's mandatory for that vehicle. Also added they said they price car aggressively. Yes it priced lower than KBB but they put mandatory hidden fees in the name Ziebart. Forcing the customer to buy it. I think they working with Ziebart aggressively instead of working with customers. Sales person was very nice but management not good especially GM. Good luck to TWIN City. Google need to provide option for 0 starts.
