Service Dept are liars and crooks

Purchased a 2007 Suburban from McMulkin with the extended warranty (as it was pushing 85K miles). I was ok with that. but from day one, I had issues with the vehicle. It went in to their service department 5 times for the same issue (Stabilitrack). Finally they suggested I pay over $2000 and the problem would be fixed (since the warranty only covered one lifter being serviced, they recommended I do the others since the engine will be open). I am a fan of preventative maintenance and needed this car to be running well. So I paid for the additional service. Within 30 miles of the getting the truck back, the light was back on! What exactly did I spend $2000 on?!?! Also then learned the EXACT same job had been done on the same truck by the same dealership less than 14 months prior. I took it back AGAIN. They told me they test drove it over 250 miles without any issue. When I got the truck back, the odometer indicated it had been driven less than 50. You can buy a car there (Salespeople will tell you whatever you want to hear). But I would NEVER take a vehicle there to be serviced. They are liars and crooks.

Wish I could give more than five stars

We purchased our Escalade from Craig Clark. From the besaid ginning, it was a smooth transaction and we will definitely be lifetime customers. We can't thank him enough for going above and beyond to make sure we were completely satisisfied!

Thank you Mat.

After a thorough search both online and in person of local used car dealers, I had narrowed my search to six vehicles that I was seriously considering. As I had a less than stellar experience with the dealer from whom I purchased my last vehicle, I was a bit cautious. The salespeople at the first few dealerships I visited ranged from mildly aggressive to downright predatory. When I walked into the MacMulkin used car dealership, I was greeted by Mathew Brouillette with a warm smile and friendly handshake. Mat took the time to listen to my wants and needs and was courteous and respectful. We came to an agreement and I purchased a 2012 Mitsubishi Outlander Sport. I did have some (very minor) issues that needed to be addressed. Mat resolved the problems to my satisfaction with a minimum of fuss. (Even though I showed up unannounced.((twice))! So, thanks Mat.

Bad Communication and poor body work / service results

This work was done in November of 2014. I brought my 1989 Corvette to the body shop and it was the worst experience I had to endure. The y replaced my rear bumper which was a used bumper for a new bumper price. "Why? They also gave me old defective and dented rear moldings "why? The paint work was already scratched on the bumper and over spray from painting was all over the car surface. When I picked up the car the rear stop light didn't work correctly and the driver side directional s did not work as well. Also I had my car serviced and had the fuel pump and water pump replaced. When I got my car I noticed the driver side rubber pillow block was missing the service rep said he would replace the block but never called or replaced the item.

Crooks

Purchased what was suppose to be a certified pre-owned Cadillac SRX. I also was sold the extended warranty (stupid me I guess) the dealer never certified my vehicle with GM and when I went to get a noise checked out at another Cadillac dealership they informed me my vehicle was not certified. When I picked up the car the floor liner was damp, I asked if this could be addressed before I picked the car up and they claimed it was. ( it wasn't). The sales person stated that someone left the windows open( also a lie) SRX had a recall with moonroof drains that leaked inside vehicle. I took car back 4 times before it was fixed. I spoke with a manager about my car not being certified he told me "well because you purchased the extended warranty we did not feel like you needed a certification" complete xx. When you buy a pre owned certified Cadillac you expect it to be certified. The sales managers are complete snakes, anything to make a sale, even lying. I will be getting an attorney as they refuse to call back and fix the issue.

Excellent Car Buying Experience

Saw a vehicle on their website that I was interested in (this was a long distance purchase). I first spoke with Kristin, who was very helpful and answered all of my initial questions - when there was something she was unsure of, she checked and got back to me within the hour. Then I talked price with Mike who was straightforward and fair. When it came time to pick up the vehicle, my sales consultant was Mat. He's the best car salesman I've ever met, hands down. Easy to get along with, honest, and willing to help with anything I needed (including a ride to the dealership after dropping off a rental car which I drove to the area). He also wanted to be sure the vehicle was exactly what I thought it was (since I hadn't seen it in person). When we walked back to his desk, he had all the paperwork ready to go and we were done closing the deal within 30 minutes. He even had the temporary tags I requested already on the vehicle. The vehicle was well detailed and "ready for delivery". Overall, an excellent car buying experience thanks to Mat, Mike, and Kristin.

Expect to be ignored

Went in to have a recall taken care of. Figured I'd get my 60k service and state inspection done while I had the day off. I sat in the waiting room forever. Every hour or two someone would come by with some lame excuse about how the one guy who could do the job was busy and it would be another hour. Of course if it's just an hour"I'm not going to leave and waste even more time coming back another day. So I stay put, and keep waiting. When the sun came down I got tired of waiting, asked the reception desk what the status was. Apparently it was already done. Massive bill (as expected from a dealer, but my experience with dealers is they aren't as hit-and-miss as a random mechanic, so the cost has served as a guarantee), and the inspection failed, so I'd have to come back (yeah right). When I asked how that happened, I was shocked. They did the inspection first. Found a problem. Charged me for the inspection and then failed me. Then during the service they fixed the problem. The reception desk didn't apologize. xxxx, they didn't even try to sympathize. I expect you can guess my reaction to their suggestions of other "sevices" they could provide. I took my business to Gurney's and have been happy ever since.

Steve Miller rocks!

I just purchased my very first car. I was extremely happy with my experience. Steve Miller is a top notch salesman, who is extremely helpful and patient. He made me feel comfortable with whatever decision I made. He made the car buying process easy and enjoyable. I would highly recommend him to anyone who is looking to purchase a vehicle. Jessica
