I am purchasing a vehicle from this dealership.

I am purchasing a vehicle from this dealership. I didn't call them Ali Mcdonald called me. He told me how he wanted to not only sell me a car but make a good business relationship with me. He had what I wanted and told me after I paid a certain amount of money he would ship it out to me. I live in Portland Oregon on the mainland. After I had paid the amount he said I needed to pay before he could ship it, He did ship it gave me the tracking number. It left the port in Hawaii and got to Sacramento I California. Customs in Sacramento took my vehicle and put it on hold until it's paid in full. From Hawaii to the main land it shouldn't have even gone through customs. Both places are US Soil. So it's state to state shipping not country to country. I did find out that he was supposed to put in with the required documents a notorized letter saying He approved for the vehicle to be shipped. He was supposed to send this letter because I have not paid it I'm full. Our agreement was he would ship it at half of the price of the price of the vehicle r and I would pay the balance when I received it. I told him all's he has to do is send them the notorized letter of shipping approval and it could be on its way. He knew he was supposed to send that when he shipped it. He's shipped a lot of cars. It was put on hold August 14 and he just keeps telling me I have to pay the balance that's the only way to get it moving. He has used the word xxxx--g when talking to me. I have said I would go down and pick it up. I have been texting him everyday . I've finally had enough of him blaming this on me when he is the one that sold it to me he is the one that offered to ship it at half price he is the one that did ship it without all of the required documents. He keeps saying crap about how I don't trust him and that's the problem. I've never met him and I've only seen pictures and videos of what he says is the vehicle I'm getting. This has been such a problem I want my money back and I will take my business somewhere else . Ali Mcdonald told me they wouldn't give me back a penny. Now he won't respond to me at all. I guess I'm going to have to call an attorney. I don't know what else to do. I an sticking to the agreement he made with me . The way he's lied to me and treated me I don't even know if this dealership has the vehicle he's sent me pictures of. I'm not sending anymore money. All's he has to do is send customs that notorized letter and he could ship it the rest of the way COD( cash on delivery ) He won't send the letter , He won't let me pick it up, and he won't ship it the rest of the way COD. This puts up a big red flag so I'm going to get an attorney on it. Don't recommend this dealership, Julie Smith

Good luck talking to anyone

Tried to call to buy a car with cash several times. Never answered the phone or replied to the text. If they're this bad trying to buy a car, imaging the customer service you'd have after you bought. Found a nicer 911 on CL without the fees.

Buyers Beware!!

My car was stolen and I needed a replacement. I looked for weeks and didn’t find anything I wanted. I came across this 2011 BMW 135i Conv and really liked the look. I called the dealership and spoke with Nikola and told him of my interest and that I lived on the big island so I would be flying over to see it. I saw the car and thought it was something I would probably like. I drove the car it handled well and I was impressed until the check engine light came on. Upon my return I notified Nikola of the light and he said it would be looked at and resolved prior to shipping the car Nikola gave me his word it would be taken care of. I picked the care up about two weeks later. The remote wouldn’t work the battery was dead so I replaced it. One of the 2 worked the other never has. When I got in the vehicle and started it up it seemed fine. I proceeded to head home and drove about 2 blocks and the engine light came on just as it did when I test drove it. I notified Nikola of the problem and he assured me it would be fixed. Conversations went back and forth for weeks until he finally said you bought a expensive car so need to maintain it and I don’t have the capacity to do so! That was it never returned any calls after. Not long after I started to see many things that most would consider quick patch job. They attempted to glue the back window in the convertible top because it apparently came off or loose obviously that didn’t work out. Eventually I figured out that they sold me a car that didn’t even have a jack to use if you got a flat! This has been a total nightmare and I would highly recommend purchasing your vehicle from another dealership to avoid the nightmare I have endured. So many things on this vehicle they tried to cover up and they did a good job doing many touch ups to hide the real issues that has cost me thousands of dollars.

We are so sorry you feel this way. We probably wrongly assumed that after two extended test drives with our sales person Gregg on two different occasions you checked all the important features and shape of the vehicle you purchased on our third meeting if I recall correctly. We are the most transparent dealer established in 1988 and encourage pre purchase inspection by independent mechanic. Some blemishes are expected on pre owned vehicles and we do not hide them and they are very visible when checking the vehicle in person. All blemishes are taken in consideration when we price our vehicles upon very elaborate and detailed market search. Most of our reviews can attest to it. We do not sell cars, we create relationships. We checked your vehicle with BMW mechanic XI Tech and he advised that low battery voltage created check engine light and after car was driven and battery recharged light was not on. We certainly would replace battery if that was recommended. We will be happy to reimburse you for the battery cost if you provided us with the battery receipt (it costs us about $180-$200). We would certainly pay for that instead of having upset client but our mechanic explained that battery did not need replacement. Email me receipt for you new battery and I'll be happy to reimburse you for it. For future purchases I advise you to hire mechanic for pre purchase inspection and go by what they tell you. All our vehicles come with 30 days power train warranty and we are the most concerned about mechanical shape of any vehicle we offer for the past 30 years. Wear and tear items sometimes stop working without notice unfortunately. We hope that all is well now.
