Bad Paint Job, Bad Business

Auto One had the best used car prices around when I was shopping a few years back. I was initially a little suspicious but after a perfect PPI, perfect record, and great reviews, I went ahead and purchased a car from them. Fast forward about a year, the paint on the front bumper panel started to chip off and blister. Initially I thought it was bad rock chip damage, but it continued to worsen until it was obviously just peeling off. I took the car to a recommended auto body shop where they had no doubt that the paint job was aftermarket, had been done improperly, and was visibly not the right color match. It also appears that my back bumper panel had also been repainted improperly. This could end up costing me around $4,000 to fix. I called Auto One to simply to discuss the situation with them and found that they easily became defensive and agitated. After talking to multiple employees, someone finally left me a voicemail saying they could not help me given the amount of time that had passed since I purchased the car. I have no way of knowing if Auto One had any initial knowledge of this situation but what I do know is that THEY ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR SELLING ME A COMPROMISED PRODUCT YET TOOK ZERO RESPONSIBILITY AND DID NOT OFFER TO HELP ME RESOLVE THE PROBLEM IN ANY WAY.

Like Santa Cruz, Auto One is great

Since we live about 3 hours away, we called and made arrangements to come in during the week. Andy was there to greet us when we arrived, the car was ready and he told us to take it out and drive around town. We loved the car and when we got back to the dealership, negotiated a satisfactory price. We went to lunch and when we returned, the car was ready to go and the paperwork took less than 30 minutes to complete. There was absolutely no pressure and was one of the best auto purchasing experiences we have ever had. After arriving home and after a week of ownership, we noticed a few minor issues. We contacted Andy, and he and Mark were great about fixing the problems without any hassle. They have a large inventory of very clean cars and we would not hesitate in buying another car from them.

Highly disorganized, non caring staff.

Highly disorganized non caring staff. Car did not run. They only had two banks. They left the financing on me. They made us wait a long time for them to find the car, knowing the time that we were arriving. Car was dirty and in a very bad shape. They wasted our day. I had never in my entire life dealt with any business, specially a car dealership so highly disorganized.

Fantastic Experience - Cannot Recommend Enough!

I have never had a better experience at ANY car dealership (new, used, or otherwise). Mark is classy, friendly and wants more than anything for you to find a car that will make YOU happy. What this means is that he is not going to try to pressure you to buy a car outside of your budget, he is not going to try to tag on any up-sells, he will try to give you a deal that is fair and he is going to treat you like his guest. This kind of business mentality is extremely rare in any business but especially the car business. Mark had a few examples of the car that I wanted, let me test drive both with my wife alone so we could discuss in private (trust!), negotiated fairly on the price, offered me a great deal on my trade-in and took care of all the paperwork, financing etc.; everything took less than two hours and we only had to deal with one person start to happy finish. Mark is a gentleman through and through; take any opportunity to visit them and you will understand. Looking forward to doing business again when my wife is ready for her next car. Until then keep up the great work and thanks for the BMW 128i, it is fantastic vehicle!

Awesome service. Charlie is the man

Could not be happier with my purchase of a cc. Charlie went out of his way to help me get my car and I could not be happier. This is by far one of the best places to ever buy a car so if you are looking for a used car you would be a fool not to at least contact these guys and see what they can do for you

Excellent Experience

I purchased a used vehicle from Auto One and have to say it was a pleasurable experience. Very reasonable, professional and zero pressure. They were unlike any car buying experience I have had before. I would reccommend them to anyone looking to buy a car. Mitchell was my sales rep and was a complete gentleman. If you are looking to buy a car you are missing out if you don't visit or buy from Auto One.
