CarMax Gulf Freeway

Totally disorganized. No customer service or reliable appointment setting. Wanted to charge me for a second key. Poor management

The dealership was great but the best part of the experience was having Shakil help me find exactly what I was looking for!

They overinflated the tires by over 50% and one of them has a slow leak.

Not the CarMax that it used to be. Our family has bought at least 20 cars from CarMax throughout the years. They have always been helpful, honest, and care about the client. This last time, we bought a car, but my wife wanted to change it as it felt too small. The salesperson that sold us the car did not even want to talk to us the second time. The second salesperson, while helpful, left a lot of things unchecked. We still don't have a second key, the vehicle was not properly cleaned and prepped for delivery, there was body damage that was not properly repaired, and the windshield wiper pump was not working (easy fix with a new fuse). Overall, the business practice is subpar with other dealers, and really a different CarMax than what CarMax was created for. Very disappointed.

We have purchased many cars from CarMax Gulf Freeway and now our 3 children purchase their cars from them also. We have never had a bad experience. It is always customer focused, quick and easy! We have never felt pressured to buy and they are always willing to transfer in vehicles if we don’t see what we want on the lot. We will always buy from CarMax Gulf Freeway! Our trust in them continues to grow with each purchase and the cars we buy have always been reliable vehicles requiring little or no repairs over the years. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a great car at a good price!
