Had the car 1 day

My sister literally bought a car from the Columbia dealership and by Sunday the engine light came on. She was told to take it to the nearest Carmax,which is the Laurens road location. She literally has been given the run around. Carmax on Laurens Road put her in a rental but kept saying that they need to order a part. And she is basically a work in because she did not have an appointment! She was told that it may be a week before they fix it.

Service in general just sucks.

We called several times leaving messages. No call back. Called again this morning an got the run around. We had the car just 3 months. The check engine light is on. Trying to get a appointment is like a act of Congress.

Used car shopper

Cars had dents....paint repair was awful at best on the few newer cars we looked at. Very dissatisfied with the price of the car versus the quality of car they were trying to sell. Every car was at least 3000.00 over comparable vehicles elsewhere.

Unsatisfied Customer

I purchased and returned my vehicle to Carmax Cola, SC within the 5 days return policy. I loved the car but the vehicle's engine light came on the 2nd day of my purchase. I contacted my salesman, T Kelley, he was very nice and professional. He told me to come in for the service department to take a look at it. After leaving hours later the engine light came on again. So I returned the vehicle because I no longer had confident in the quality of their vehicles. After the return, corporate refund my check for the price of the car with no problem. However, the money I paid for sales, tax, and tags Carmax Cola, SC prolonged refunding me my money. I was told I would be refunded to the bank card I used. When swiping my card to get a refund an additional amount that was to be returned to me was taken out of my account. They've only returned half of my money owed. I'll definitely be contacting corporate in the morning. I don't recommend anyone purchasing from this company. I wish I would have checked out the reviews first. There are many other unsatisfied customers. They maybe cheaper than the dealer but it's not worth what'll you go through if the car isn't working properly. I did finally go to Dick Dyler Mercedes-Benz and Volvo. I got the vehicle I wanted, with bumper to bumper warranty, low miles, and a great deal!!!
