Independence MO Carmax is THE BEST. They went over and beyond to find solutions to our problems. Vehicle transfer snags? Roger in the Business Office fixed that one. Out of state financing (Texas)? Matt in the Business Office navigated the remedy. Wanted to bring the car home same day as test drive? Austin on the Sales Floor made that happen for us....avoided another 104 mile round trip. Sales person was very good. But there was/is confusion over a refund of sales tax. Sales person told me that I would pick up a check the next day. Another person said it would be mailed by the state. Another person said it would be mailed by Carmax. Still don't have a check but was told it would be a few weeks.
