Sean Smith was our salesman. He, along with Ryan Knueppel, Tim Brenner and Colleen Halfman, made our buying experience enjoyable!!! Good to see positive competition in the area! We're getting alot of compliments on our truck! Thanks again Brian & Amy Schears

New (to me) Jeep

I found the Jeep I was interested in online and sent an inquiry email to Summit. Brett Schmitz contacted shortly thereafter to schedule a time to look/drive the vehicle. I visited the dealership twice while deciding, and I was limited on time both times. Brett & Summit Automotive were able to accommodate my needs given a limited time and made the trade and purchase worth while.

great dealership to do business with!

We did business with Brett and would recommend his services to anyone. We were on the fence as to what exactly we were looking for. He took the time to find us the right vehicle. The dealership itself is outstanding. All of the staff is very friendly. We look forward to do business with them again in future.

Great experience.

My husband & I had a great experience working with Kraig Peterson at Summit. He had a laid back approach and was not too pushy on just getting the sale. We also worked with Tim Brenner in the finance department and he was very helpful with all of the financial information. Once we decided on the vehicle we wanted to purchase, Kraig and Tim were very efficient in getting the paperwork done so we could be on our way in our new vehicle.

My best car buying experience to date.

After spending two weeks trying to work with another dealership I contacted Brett at Summit Automotive. Since we live a distance from the dealership he worked with us handling our trade in concerns via phone. To allow us to make the purchase with only one trip to the dealership and on short notice Brett went above and beyond.

No pressure. No worries.

I was looking for a new Wrangler, hoping for a Rubicon. My wife noticed this 2014 Rubicon X at Summit. When I went there, I was impressed with the number of pre owned Wranglers they had on the lot. Justin showed me the X, but I thought it was too nice for a Jeep. On the way home I called my wife to tell her about it. She called Justin, made a down payment over the phone, and now I'm driving The nicest Jeep I've ever been in. This was a FUN car buying experience. Bill Schultz

They are nice enough but won't answer emails

Got a 2011 Jeep in June. Broke down Sept 2nd and I believe it is the brakes they supposedly replaced. It said new rotors and brakes in the ad. It's bad enough that I did not get the Internet price. Got charged about $500 more. And there turns out to be this beyond annoying squeak in the seat that I did not hear in test drive but started almost immediately the next week. Not sure what they did to hide that.. But now after three months of having it, I cannot drive it because it shakes over 40 miles and the brakes make noise and the passenger side wheel was super hot. No one will answer my emails. Surprise. I guess it's time to get serious.

Fast and Friendly Service

I purchased my 2012 Dodge Ram 1500 with the help of Tom Williamson just a couple weeks ago. I felt like I got a great, and competitive deal on the truck and he answered all of my questions and quickly got me all of the information I asked for. Everyone I talked to there was very friendly and personable. I also worked a lot with Randy Sabel for financing my truck. We ran into a slight xxxx-up with my insurance company and bank and he took the time to email me back and forth and be on and off the phone with me a number of times in only a few hours to make sure everything was taken care of in order for me to pick up my truck the next morning. Excellent customer service and I have already recommended a few friends to go check them out!

Great experience with purchase!

I searched many dealerships in Illinois for a particular vehicle but had no success. I came across an ad from Summit with the exact vehicle I wanted, in great condition! I completed a contact form on Summit's website and Sean Smith called me the next day. Sean helped secure financing at a competitive rate and was completely on top of the entire process. Sean wasn't available the day I went to see the vehicle (it was his day off and my visit was unexpected), but he coordinated with Chris Olig to help things move forward smoothly. Chris had the vehicle parked in front and ready for a test drive. Again, the vehicle was in great condition, as described in the ad. It was a busy night, but Chris made us feel comfortable and worked with Randy Sabel to get our paperwork pushed through as quickly as possible. It was a great team effort! It turned out that the vehicle only included one key, however, Summit had no problem reimbursing me the cost of duplicating the key, which was not cheap!
