A/C Service

I was welcomed with a smile and was spoken to like I had no knowledge or common sense when it came to automotive subjects. The condescending tones were the highlight of the experience. Not only did they have to perform the same diagnostic twice, it was necessary to bill for both. When ask about a coupon, the staff had zero knowledge and put forth no effort to follow up. I was instructed if I wanted to use it, I would have to email proof to the service manager because she had no knowledge of basic promotion. She refused any effort to follow up with job knowledge and insisted I complete the task for her. I begrudgingly did and paid my bill. Upon my exit I departed with a pleasantly rude good bye along with an extremely sarcastic good day. I will certainly return when I feel Ike being insulted and angry the rest of my day. When my vehicle requires service I will definitely recommend elsewhere. Although I certainly will recommend Kunes to anyone that enjoys being insulted.

Do not buy a used vehicle here!

Yesterday I spent $857 fixing everything that was wrong with the vehicle they sold me. The vehicle did not do any of this during the test drive. Maybe after 3 days everything started happening. The vehicle started randomly completely turning off at stops (not auto start/stop). Sometimes it would literally go dead, no power, and eventually cut back on. The ac/heat wouldn’t work properly. The usb ports didn’t work. There’s a small place on the windshield that’s not sealed and water leaks sometimes. There’s a slow leak in a radiator hose. One tire had a slow leak and I tried replacing it but the wheel lock nut key wasn’t left in the vehicle. I ended up getting it fixed yesterday at the closest dealership for that vehicle (Land Rover) in Peoria. I highly advise to never get a used vehicle here. They wouldn’t even try to fix anything. My tow truck driver even mentioned he’s had to tow many vehicles from Kunes.

Terrible customer service

I?ve had a variety of terrible experiences at Kunes of Morrison. Started the day I bought my 2019 Tahoe and paid for a service contract/extended warranty. I?d like to preface with the fact I like 110 miles round trip from the dealership. I scheduled my first oil change and warranty work through the Chevy app. Showed up to my appt and was told they don?t use online booking and they had no appt for me. I would need to come back another day. Not only was I upset, I had no choice but to go back. I set up another appt for my oil change and warranty work. I had a fuse that kept popping the lift gate glass open. I got my oil change and was told I would have to come back a third time for the warranty work. I came back for the warranty work. They told me it was fixed and I headed home. I drove home only to realize that while my car was being serviced, I had a brand new Patagonia winter coat (tags still attached) and a high dollar BMX helmet missing from my car. I called to inquire and was told ? a service master worked on your car. We would even offend him like that by asking. We know he didn?t steal from you?. So now, I had to purchase another 500+ cost and another 200+ BMX helmet. Also, the ?service master? didn?t actually fix my warranty problem. He pulled a fuse and didn?t replace it. I figured that out when I needed to replace my rear wiper blade and the glass wouldn?t open. So after multiple trips and stolen items, and having a warranty, I then spent 45 on a fuse myself and popped it in place so that my lift gate would properly function. Here?s where it gets fun. Somewhere along the way u got a voucher for a free oil Change. That was after my online booking incident. Recently, I called to cash in on my free oil change and inquire about my extended warranty/service plan-whatever you want to call it. My driver headlight has a seal that started leaking and there is now moisture in the light. I was told when I purchased said warranty everything, including seals, would be covered. Showed up to my appt, was told I don?t have a service package. Left incredibly angry after knowing I spent thousands of dollars on it. The woman from service called me several hours later and said ?my bad. You do have a warranty. It just doesn?t cover moisture?. Well, if the seal wasn?t bad, there wouldn?t be moisture. I?ve called the dealership several times wanting clarification on this issue. I?ve reached out via fb and heard nothing. 10/10 I would not recommend this dealership to anyone at this point. At a minimum, a call from someone ons customer service should have occurred. My headlight should be covered, and some sort of compensation for my missing cost and helmet and all the extra trips I have taken to go to a dealership that has shown me nothing but dishonesty.

Chris even took the time to show me how to use all

I came in with low hopes on getting a trade. Bad credit. Financial issues. Chris helped getting all the info and helped me pick a car. Mike got me a great loan on a great car. Low intrest rate and almost no down payment. How he did that i have no idea. Josh he wrapped it all up and finished all the paperwork and talked about all the bell whistles. Chris even took the time to show me how to use all the new fancy features my new car has. Was a great experience here. Ive been telling everyone how great it was here and if they need any kind of vehicle this is the place to go.

Service and update

Service did an unscheduled routine oil charge and also tracked the problem of the oil light being on. An update was needed for the oil light problem. Good service.

New car purchase

Always a good experience. I have purchased new cars every 3 years since 2005. Before that I had a 93 Corsica that I also had purchased from this dealership. I consider myself a long term customer because I had other cars purchased there also.
