I feel completely misled during our car purchase.
I feel completely misled during our car purchase. The dealership added a Cilajet ceramic coating to the total price without properly explaining it. It was briefly mentioned at the start but never discussed again during price negotiations. Instead, it was bundled in with taxes and fees, making it seem like it was mandatory. Only after signing the paperwork did I realize it was included, and by then, I was told the contract couldn’t be changed. They also told us they worked with a third-party company for leather conversion, but when I followed up the next business day, I found out that service wasn’t even available. To make things worse, they told us we could still make changes before leaving the lot since my wife didn’t like the upholstery. I signed first and picked her up from work so we could both check the car. They told us to drive it home and come back the next day, but later I learned that once you drive off the lot, the deal is locked in. It feels like we were tricked. The Cilajet coating isn’t even on the official manufacturer window sticker — they made their own separate sticker to make it look official. This feels like a sneaky way to charge extra for something unnecessary and boost their commission. None of the promises they made have been met, and my wife is really upset. This whole experience has been stressful and disappointing. I hope others read this before buying here and double-check every fee and “add-on” they try to include.

I love my new car however make sure to shop around.
I love my new car however make sure to shop around. Also the way the show the numbers is very misleading as they put "amount financed" rather than cost of the car. I'd absolutely avoid this dealership. Hyundai Beaverton has better deals and more transparency. Same exact vehicle 5k cheaper. Pretty much charged MSRP for an outgoing car and made it seem like I was getting a deal. Wild to turn off a customer that would had gotten serviced here and brought in car for anything going forward based on 4/5k upfront. Last time I step foot in this dealership. I'd highly suggest you do as well if you value transparency and value. Also mentioned the original color + interior combo I was inquiring about "doesn't exist" - IT DOES ands is available at Beaverton Hyundai. -Adding in response from dealer and myself for visibility- Ron Tonkin Hyundai responded PRIVATELY on 9/10/25 7:58 PM Sorry you had a less than stellar experience.
