This seller has been on Cars.com since February 2017.
Family owned and operated we started in 1995 and Today we have 10 full time employees with all of our technicians reaching the highest level of Certification in the automotive industry ASE Master Certified Technicians.

Zero recommendations. It’s already all over the we

bought an Acura 3 or 4 months ago, 3/13/21 from Frey's automotive L.L.C The timing belt blew, while on the freeway, mind you it is not used often. Just a back & forth vehicle. They looked at it and said the transmission belt went. Trying to offer a junk part engine of which WE have to pay $2000. ‍ Between $6,000 - $8,000 & they want more money. xxxx YOU FREYS AUTOMOTIVE, L.L.C Terrible, I will never tell anyone to buy from them. I will spread the word everywhere. CON ARTISTS‼ I wish we never met these people. SCAM ARTISTS. Smile in your face, offering vehicles you put junk parts in.

Frey Automotive was very attentive to my questions and provided understandable and helpful answers. I selected a vehicle online (from their inventory) and when I examined the vehicle, realized their description was indeed correct. It was a pleasure doing business with the staff at Frey Motors.

Best Dealer Experience

I had a great experience at Frey Automotive! I live near Naperville, IL and have A LOT of dealers to choose from. I was looking for a used Nissan Leaf with Quick Charge, and all of the dealers near me had a lack of knowledge about this car even though they were trying to sell them. I called several dealers near me to ask about their Nissan Leaf inventory. Most of the dealers didn't know what quick charge was, the photos they posted didn't help verify if the car had it or not, and some of the dealers started sending me emails saying "free oil changes for life" (Nissan Leaf doesn't use oil...). Finally, I came upon Frey Automotive's website and found the car that I ended up purchasing. The car's description and photos made it extremely easy to see that this car was an exact match! I drove up to the dealership to meet JJ for a test drive and to talk about the car. I've only purchased 2 other vehicles in my life, but this was the most hassle free purchase I've made. We both were able to agree to an honest price for the car (and the price was on the low end of market value, which made the deal extra good for me knowing I didn't get ripped off). I came back for the car the next weekend once finances were in place and the car has been perfect ever since!

Great Dealership that treats you as a Person!

I recommend Frey Automotive to anyone that is looking for a place that treats you as a person not a Sale! JJ is a open and honest person who cares about you and what you are looking for in the vehicle. He listened to me and was totally no pressure. He allowed me to test drive the vehicle and let me spend as much time checking it out. I decided to purchase the 2005 Jeep Liberty and he worked with me on the price. We looked over the vehicle and he told me he would re-detail the front seats which was nice because he has such high standards. I purchased an extended warranty on it (it has high miles on it) and he explained everything going through the purchase process. I plan on having him service the vehicle. He even mentioned I could take it to other places but I prefer to bring it to him. Overall an excellent experience.

Honest, reasonable, honest and efficient.

Again, I cannot stress how knowledgeable, friendly, honest and efficient the staff is. The service was prompt and thorough. Very reasonable charges. Will continue to take all my cars here.

Friendly Service

He was honest and very easy to work with. He stayed after his posted hours to work with us. I found this to be one of the best car buying experiences I have had. The new property was very well done and I hope he has great success in the future.

Cyndy, I searched for your e-mail and did find it. I do sincerely apologize for not responding to you. We do not ever intend to leave potential customers hanging and it will not happen again! Good Place!

We had been looking for a car for my kids to use and also a reliable 2nd car for the family and found it at Frey. We have had a Ford Taurus in the past and it has been a great car, I found a low mileage 07' right in my back yard! I have always looked at the big dealerships for my vehicles and always been leary about the small ones but I was pleasantly surprised at this place. The appearance is somewhat misleading to the people that you will encounter when you stop here. If they have what you are lookin' for don't hesitate to shop here!!
