I signed a contract on the 24th of September for a brand

I signed a contract on the 24th of September for a brand new car with Michael, the sales manager. Essentially, he messed up the paperwork. Two weeks after the purchase, he had someone call me and tell me that my payment was going up because they screwed up. Obviously, I said ‘absolutely not, you better figure it out or take the car back but I’m not paying more than the agreed upon amount.’ They finally got it fixed and I signed a contract with slightly new terms. Then they screwed up again, so I had to sign another contact the same exact day just for clerical issues. Move forward again two weeks, so a nearly a month after the ‘purchase’, I get called again, this time by the finance manager, Vince. I’m told, ‘hey I don’t know what’s been happening here but I’m just trying to get this all squared away, so we need you to sign a new contract.’ In case you missed it, that would be the fourth contact I would need to sign with these lunatics. They seem to act as if this is normal, like I shouldn’t be outraged about this, that it’s normal to call up clients and tell them they screwed up and your payment is going up. At this point, I’ve had it. I don’t even own the car a month later. I drove the car more than. 2,500 miles so far as my partner and went on a road trip. The paint on the hood has chips from the same trip (so much for the coating I paid extra for to protect the paint). So I tell them, I’m done with one sided changes. Either we renegotiate a new contract beneficial to me or I’m not signing up to their new terms and conditions. Then it goes quiet. Finally, they have the sales person text me trying to talk me out of it. He brings up his kids and wife trying to guilt me into this nonsense. I’m still a no. I’m done signing new contracts that do not benefit me. I’m tired of the lackadaisical attitude they have given me. Particularly, Michael the sales manager and the person who made the initial mistake, has been nothing short of a a****le to me every time I’ve spoke to him. Absolutely terrible customer service. Now, they refuse to renegotiate the car. So I said, okay refund my down payment and come get it. I’m done. I’ll take my business elsewhere because you do not deserve it. This was Monday. Michael then calls me that Monday evening and tells me they’ll come Tuesday and bring me a check for the down payment. Tuesday I texted to confirm and I hear nothing. I call, I hear nothing. I call again, I hear nothing. Finally I ask the receptionist if I can talk to anyone that’s not a voicemail. After being on hold, Vince tells me that they won’t be coming today, Michael is off today and ‘I don’t want to bother him on his day off’ so he won’t be able to confirm anything until tomorrow. God forbid Michael be inconvenienced at all. Clearly inconvenience is a prime customer service feature saved for customers only. So now I have a car that I cannot drive bc it does not belong to me, they have $1,500 that belongs to me that I need in order to buy another vehicle but no one has any idea when they are coming to take the car and give me back my money. Y'all, take your business elsewhere. Woodrum Toyota cannot be the only place that is a Woodrum dealer that is this backwards and insane. Don’t do it to yourself. You’ll be stuck in a situation where they try to screw you over. Anyone at Woodrum reading this, you suck big xxxxx.

Best Dealership Experience EVER!

I was looking for a specific model of used car. On line I found Woodrum Toyota and saw they had the vehicle I was looking for in stock at an affordable fair price. After confirming they still had the car on the lot, I drove 3 1/2 hours from the St. Louis area to check it out. The car was even better than I'd hoped and Cole Johnson, Jared Klapp and Mike Forman made purchasing the vehicle the best experience I've ever had at a dealership! Thanks, you guys rock!

New car purchase from TJ and the gang

am from Galesburg, it is always a challenge purchasing a new car where i live, I usually have to go out of town to get a better deal. Well I am glad I came to Woodrum in Macomb, IL. The sales staff were great to deal with and it did not take all day and night to get a great deal. I would recommend Woodrum to anyone looking for a new car, its worth the drive. Thank you to all of you...@ Woodrum Toyota!!! Tim

Excellent dealership... Many thanks!

My experience at Woodrum Automotive is only recent (yesterday! - 7/26/18) but I want to give my deepest and most sincere thanks to Bill Seymore and everyone there for making my car buying experience such a pleasure. It is somewhat funny as I was heading to another dealer with an advertised car that I wanted to look at. But, as luck would have it, I made a turn too early, found myself at Woodrum, parked next to a perfect, clean and amazing 2012 Prius v (my future car!). I was greeted soon after my arrival, offered water and coffee, then introduced to Bill Seymore, the sales person I worked with and who I now certainly owe for the completely above and beyond service and help he provided. It was an outstanding experience and I am not so sure many can say that about most car purchasing experiences. I met most of the people at the dealership and to a person they were welcoming, genuine and knowledgeable. I highly recommend the Woodrum Automotive dealership if you are looking for a new or used car. I was going to say "...if you are in the area (Macomb, IL)" but I recommend Woodrum even if you need to go out of your way to talk with them. They were that good. Thank you Bill and everyone there!

Customer

Evan Wayne was our car salesman and he was so amazing!!! The whole team was very helpful and not once did I feel rushed or pushed to make a decision. They don't push you to get the most expensive vehicle but rather the best vehicle for you!

Buyer Beware

In 2013 I bought an F150 from this dealer. The salesman was great to work with (Ray). 3 months before my warranty expired, my radio would intermittently fail to power up. I took it into the dealership and was told that they couldn't read a code for it unless it was malfunctioning at the time (radio had powered up on the drive into the dealer). The service mgr told me they entered the problem into the computer system in order to get it recorded before the warranty expired. He explained that the radio problems were common in the F150, so common in fact, Ford had as a matter of "good will" repaired some of these radios even after the warranty expired. They told me to stop in when I was in town and the radio wasn't working. I explained that I lived about 40 minutes away and worked in Peoria so I didn't get to Macomb very often during their shop hours (no tech on duty on saturdays they said). They said "no problem, it's been logged into the computer system". 9 days after the warranty expired, my radio was not working for an entire week so I took a vacation day in order to take it to the dealer. The read a code on it and scheduled the repair for the following Friday. I was told by the new servifce mgr (Brian) that it would cost $50 if it was just a simple wiring issue and if it was the radio itself or any module connected to it then those would be covered 100%. They fixed a connector in the wiring but the radio failed again 2 days later. I called back and the service mgr then tells me that it's probably the radio module that could cost up to $1700. I reminded him what I was told and that it failed during the warranty period and was recorded in their computer system during the warranty period and that he told me if it was the radio itself or a module, then it would be covered 100%. He said he would talk to one of his techs or a warranty guy and call me back. Never did. After 3 ph calls to him and being told he would call back - he never did. So I call and ask to speak to the General Mgr (Mike Woodrum) who had gone home already. They took my name, ph number and explanation of my issue with the service mgr and was assured that Mike would call me back the next morning. NEVER DID. I have been a lifelong FORD man and also own 2 Toyota cars which the dealership also sells. I WILL NEVER BUY ANOTHER VEHICLE FROM THIS DEALER. IF YOU DON'T EVEN RETURN PHONE CALLS THEN EVIDENTLY RETAINING LOYAL CUSTOMERS IS NOT A CONCERN OF THEIRS.
