I WAS MISLEAD AND LIED TO!!!
Hello. My name is Marcus Phillips and I recently purchased a 2019 Chevrolet Colorado truck from Budget Auto Sales in Tifton, Ga. My experience has been a nightmare, to say the least. The saleman by the name of Kurt Mitchell, told me that the truck I selected, came fully loaded. I'm a semi truck driver and time is not a luxury for me. Since it was my first time ever buying a truck, I took him at his word. I got the truck and noticed that it didn’t have a backseat. I contacted Kurt and inquired about it, and he brushed me off. I contacted the bank that financed the loan and was told by Chip, that what I'd experienced was an unfair tactic and that I should contact an attorney. I didn't want it to immediately go that far, I just wanted the backseat installed. I expressed that to Kurt, in which he responded that he himself would pay out of pocket to have done. Kurt then says that he'd pay half and the bank could pay the other half. Then, it went from that promise to pay to he'd write a personal check for $1,000 to me and I'd be responsible for the remaining balance. Kurt completely gave me the run around and didn’t care about my pain, suffering, and mental anguish, having just spent over $26,000 on a truck with no back seat!!!!! I have the ENTIRE text thread of the conversation between Kurt and myself that will show what he kept promising and reneging on. I have been calling to speak with a manager, but my calls are screened and I receive a text as a response or....Kurt himself answers. I just want the issue resolved or I will be forced to take legal action against your company. What should have been an exciting moment, has left me utterly disappointed in the service I received and has me questioning the integrity of Budget Auto Sales.

RUN!! DISHONEST
I went in to only inquire about suv. Darryl Phillips was standing outside when I pulled in. After discussing my credit score and income amount. He stated I wasn’t getting in the truck I wanted but he get me into something. He never stated what I would get in or an ideal. He then filled out what I’m guessing was a application and said sign here. I took it as we was just talking numbers, nothing was set in stone. Not knowing he was running my credit, I checked while I was at the dealership to find out he ran it with 5 different places! When I stated I wasn’t aware of you running my credit he got upset and stated you not getting what you want I was trying to help you. This guy is a fast talker and very rude to customers. I have five inquires on my credit and I never filled out a application. I asked for the manager to make him aware he was doing this kind of thing to innocent people. I waited almost 30 minutes to be told the manager said he will see about getting me into something else and would give me a call. Two days later still no call! DO NOT TRUST THESE PEOPLE.

I had a great purchasing experience from this dealership in Tifton, Ga. My salesman’s name was Dana. He was a joy to work with and kept his word to me throughout the entire buying experience. He really made it a smooth and easy process and went above and beyond to help me with what I wanted and needed in a vehicle all to my satisfaction! Thank you, Dana, for such super customer service. I would wholeheartedly recommend Dana to anyone looking for a new or used automobile. Thank you again!

RUN away, don’t walk!! Terrible
One thing I do not do is shady business!! These guys are slicker than cans of oil here and not to be trusted. Coming in with your own financing, perhaps things would be different. I was quoted one thing then I asked for an invoice as proof after being bank approved, then given a totally different APR, length of financing, and had padded fees in the breakdown of cost! Left that crap deal right there with them. To think that I almost drove 6 hours to pickup an SUV!!! Shop around and you’ll be glad you did! I will not do business where dishonesty is the culture! RUN don’t walk away!

This salesman named CHARLES pulled my credit report and told me I was approved for the vehicle that I was interested in. He called me the next day and told me to come sign the paperwork asap to get the vehicle before another customer that had inquired about it come to get it. He stated that the customer was otw from Atlanta, GA so I would beat them there if I left quickly. I got there a few hours later but had talked to him several times on the phone while otw and he told me he had the paperwork still waiting on me. Once I get there the truck was NOT on the lot but instead another vehicle he wanted me to purchase. He told so many LIES after I questioned why the vehicle wasn't there. This is not a friendly workplace, dealership looks like some run down lot and they are full of it!!! His apology was also insincere. Now I'm stuck with THREE hard inquiries on my credit report from him! GO ELSEWHERE AND SHOP.

Dishonest.
I called this dealership to confirm they had a minivan that was online. I asked them if it has been inspected and they said it had been. I asked if it had any issues at all and they said no. I drove 3 hours with my wife and two kids to the dealership to buy the car. I already had financing. When I get there, they rush us through the paperwork and have us go for a quick ride. I immediately notice the car has a lose passenger mirror. We do the paperwork and get the car seats in when I notice two warning light pop up on the dash that weren’t there initially. I go inside and don’t see the salesman I was working with. There were several other salesman that briefly looked up from their cell phones and didn’t lift a finger to assist me. I finally went to one of their offices and had to wait for them to acknowledge me. I asked them if they had seen my salesman to which they replied, “he must be around here somewhere”. Be pointed to an office at the end of the building and said he might be in there. I informed him I already checked that room and it was vacant. I finallg walked into the manager/owners office. He kept working on his computer for about 30 seconds while completely ignoring me. I began to tell him about the issues I was having, he didn’t seem to care at all. He cut me off and said he could give me my check back. These people are stupid at best and liars at worse. They want me to believe this car had a full inspection yet the mirror is visibly lose, and two warning lights pop on as were about to drive it off the lot. I’m thankful we got our check back because who knows what other issues this car had that we hadn’t yet found. They did t seem to care at all about the problems on the car.

Very unprofessional
Daryl Phillips is a habitual liar and he is very unprofessional. My family brought a car from him and he allowed them to leave and waited a month to let them know that he needed the car back. He told multiple lies and “thought” he was going to get the car back. BUT GOD!!! We still got the car and I will never recommend anyone to this establishment as long as Daryl Phillips is working there.
