Very good experience

Bought a new Jeep at Don Miller. It was a very good experience. I would recommend them.

To date, we have purchased 2 vehicles from this dealership. Both times, we worked with Jon Stein. Jon knows the cars inside and out, and is not your typical car salesman. He is genuinely interested in finding the perfect car for your needs, even if it means selling you a car of lesser value than one the dealership would make more profit on and walking around the car lot and test driving cars for 3 hours... on a day that was already filled to the brim with appointments. Both times, we felt like we were his #1 priority and his main goal was to have us leave the car dealership happy... with or without a new vehicle.

Don Miller Customer - twice

I purchased a Subaru Forester in 2009, and a Mazda5 in 2013. In both cases, I did my research ahead of time (check out incentives, know the invoice, etc.), and let the salesman know. In both cases the dealer's initial offering price was lower than what I considered to be a fair price. The salesmen I dealt with were fantastic. If you are having trouble with one, ask to speak with someone else - I dealt with Steve, who I highly recommend. Keep in mind that these people are salespeople for a living - they depend on selling you a car so that they can pay their bills. That being said, I got two extremely good deals on cars from salespeople who treated me more as a colleague than a competitor. At the end of the buying experience, I thanked Steve for a non-typical experience and he replied that "Don Miller knows the reputation that auto salespeople have, and prides himself on hiring salespeople who don't fit that mold". I have had exceptional service at the Subaru service shop, and have not yet tried the Mazda service shop. The mechanics who check you in and out are quite knowledgeable, and will give you good advice on maintenance (including recommending that you wait for certain repairs). Again, go in having done a little research, and with a friendly attitude and you can learn a lot from them. Also, they know their vehicles - for quirky issues they have expertise you won't find in a generic auto shop. The waiting area is somewhat bare-bones but a step up from most locations. They do have wireless internet so you can work while you wait. Again, do your research, go in with a friendly attitude, and be reasonable, and your car buying / repair experience should be great here. I recommend Don Miller frequently.

Both gentlemen listened to my needs and found a car that fit me and my budget. The service department for the past 3 years has always done an excellent job with my previous Mazda CX-7. I will continue to have my new Mazda CX-5 serviced here.

Beware--switcheroo, ridiculous sales games

This dealership pulled a switch on me when I came to drive a car I had confirmed would be available 20 minutes before I arrived. They tried to put me behind the wheel of a car the same color and make, but which had higher mileage and a collision on its record. I caught it because I verified the VIN number. The salesman also tried to play some ridiculous guilt-peddling games. ("Is it because you don't like me?" he asked, pathetically.) If you must visit Don Miller West, have your A-game going. Double-check that you are getting the vehicle you think you're getting at all stages of the negotiation. Take absolutely nothing on faith. Not for the faint of heart or the first-time buyer!

We just purchased our 3rd Mazda from this dealership. The sales team is solid, thorough and friendly. Dean did a wonderful job getting us into our new Mazda 3. Beyond that, we always come back for service. It's a joy to work with Patrick, Bob and Bob. They are friendly, knowledgeable and accomodating. This dealership has a lot going for it, they sell a reliable car that is crazy fun to drive and service isn't a hassle. It's refreshing to come in and see the same friendly faces with each visit. I couldnt rave enough about Don Miller Mazda, stop in and see for yourself, you will be glad you did.

I always get excellent, honest service at Don Miller...

I always get excellent, honest service at Don Miller Mazda. I usually work with Patrick who is very accommodating and helpful but everyone there is terrific. They make time for me, sometimes even at the last minute. My car is always done right away, often sooner than estimated and the price is usually a bit lower than estimated as well! They have good coffee and it is free- always nice. My biggest complaint is that there is no car wash there and no accommodation made for the car to be cleaned post service. Compared to similar dealership service stations in our area this is where I i feel Don Miller Mazda needs improvement. Otherwise I always feel well cared for at this facility. Dean was friendly, but not phony or obsequious. He was...

Dean was friendly, but not phony or obsequious. He was knowledgeable and thorough. We were really happy with our year-end discounts and the $500 saved from the Mazda loyalty program (a 19 year old 626). We don't spend this kind of money easily, and we are very happy with how all of this turned out. We have had the car for one day and we have all been smiling a lot.
