Bait and switch.

Bait and switch. Marketing advertised two differnt prices. When we got there, they were saying the higher price was all they would do. The sales rep argued with us about everything. He kept cutting us off. When I tried to show the sales rep what we were seeing, he kept arguing saying they had no control over pricing. We went in to talk to the manager, he basically said he wasn't going to do anything with the price. We pay the high price or leave. We left and he let us. Found it ironic that the sales guy said his manager has been driving the car we wanted for the last few weeks and the manager didn't want to talk price. Guess we drove in on his daily driver that he was not wanting to let go of. We noticed there was a good amount of miles put on it since it was advertised. I am not sure what kind of family environment Parks Motors is trying to sell, but that is not a family I want to be apart of. Clearly it is a highly dysfunctional family they are selling. I was very disappointed. I need a car and would have bought that if they honored the price that they were advertising. I would have been mortified if I owned that dealership and my employees acted that way to a customer.

I wish I could give a negative star rating!

I wish I could give a negative star rating! DO NOT BUY FROM THEM!!! BUYER BE WARE!!! Their manager, Jae Rayfield, is only in the business of ripping people off. He told me the best he could do for a trade in on my vehicle was over $2000 LESS THAN what jdpower has as the ROUGH trade in value. MY VEHICLE IS IN GREAT CONDITION! I have had two other dealerships offer me $3k more than Parks but Jae Rayfield will only adjust the trade in if he also increases the sale price for the vehicle I wanted to buy by $5k OVER WHAT THEY LIST IT FOR!!! Just trying to finagle the numbers and assume I’m an idiot. COMPLETELY unrealistic and unethical business practices! I’ll attach pictures if I can to show I did my research and they are just car scam artists. So disheartening which is why people HATE shipping for cars. I hope this review helps others from wasting their time with them!

Women should not be alone here

My wife was thinking about downsizing her from her 2018 Grand Cherokee Altitude (roughly 60000 miles and only damage was a minor door ding) and they tried to to offer her $14000. I called her, she put me on speaker phone and I told them h*** no!!! The sales guy said he would “talk to management” and comes back a couple minutes later with me still on speaker, now all of a sudden the value is $24000. Seems pretty shady if you ask me. I’ve bought cars from them in the past and with the old sales team and John Culver at the helm that would have never happened. Do better

Visited Parks motor this week 10/25/23 and met with their car salesman Travis Richardson. It was literally the first day of starting my car buying process, so didn’t expect to leave with a finalized contract. After going over a vehicle that fit our needs, we ended up considering what I thought was going to be a good deal. Ended up being a bait and switch by the dealership. This is the most unethical process I’ve ever been part of. I gave them the exact max dollar amount and loan that I was trying to get approved for. They negotiated with me on the trade-in and presented a preliminary contract with the final sales price that fit my budget. They even did the car salesman deal where they had me give my initial right next to the sales price if I was committed. I gave them my commitment to purchase the vehicle if he would get to that final price. He came back to the office with his manager and said that they agreed to it. I let them know that I would be looking into financing in the next week. I had Travis send me a sales contract that afternoon and it ended up being 7000 more than what we discussed in the office. They even took my deposit, $1,500 down that day immediately. The salesman was non-apologetic, and gave no explanation as to why they change the sell price. He essentially ignored my calls for the next day or so. I'm just in disbelief that a deal could be handled so badly.

I hope the owner sees this.

I hope the owner sees this. We bought a 2021 GMC Terrain on April 6th. The contract stated that the small crack be repaired and they would provide me a second set of keys. Two weeks had gone by and I have no heard anything from the dealership concerning either items. I had been texting the manager and the salesperson asking them with no response so I finally call Howard the sales manager. I receive a phone call from service and they pretty much said "someone dropped the ball and didn't have your request filled". So after a month I finally get my second set of keys and an appointment for the crack in my windshield. Well little were we informed the crack previously been repaired and the dealership hired a 3rd party to repair it. Well needless to say they made the crack worse and now the dealership is pretty much telling us it's our problem and to call your insurance even though it was the dealerships 3rd party and lack of communication that made this worse. It took them over a month of no unreturned phone calls, emails to both the sales manager and general manager for them to say your out of luck. If I were the owner I would be very disappointed in the representation of the company by these employees.
