I entered a vehicle Sales Agreement with Belmonte Auto Imports on Tuesday 10/18/22. The Dealer received Proof of financing on Wednesday 10/19/22. At that time, I requested to put a down payment to further secure the deal while the check was being mailed from my Credit Union to the Dealer. I was reassured in writing (text massaging) "not necessarily, I already put a sold sign on it". Thursday 10/20/22 Dealer received FedEx confirmation the financing check was being overnighted directly from my Credit Union to the Dealership. Friday 10/21/22 9:30am the Dealer has confirmed receiving my payment for the vehicle. Friday 10/21/22 midday, while enroute (3 hour drive) to pick up vehicle the Dealer called and stated the vehicle was sold to someone else on Thursday 10/20/22. When we told him we were enroute he put us on hold. He forgot to mute the phone. So, we heard him tell one of his employees to hide the vehicle. He offered me $1000 for my trouble. I stated I would like the vehicle I payed for or one of the same. No correspondence from the Dealer since the incident. The Credit Union has opened up a Fraud Case against the Dealer on my behave.

Rude employees / dangerous customer service
Stopped by today hoping to check out a used 2012 Galant. This is actually a make / model we are VERY interested in so having this experience left an extra nasty taste in our mouth. My husband is a first responder, frontline worker, and we had one small request for sales staff : please wear a mask when dealing with us. The sales person who greeted us REFUSED to wear a mask, we left. We won't be back. A business that refuses to follow Wake County mask orders and endanger theri customers cant be trusted to sell a reliable and safe car.

Outstanding service
This dealership is phenomenal! The owner and staff all have many years in the business, and it showed throughout the buying process. I recently bought a Ram 1500, and they far exceeded my expectations for purchasing a vehicle. When I buy again I will look to Belmonte Auto first!

Nothing but issues from morning after purchasing
6/22/18-GOING THROUGH PAPERWORK THAT CAME WITH CAR FINDING SERVICE RECORDS, CAME ACROSS ACCIDENT REPORT FOR THIS VECHILE!! WAS TOLD NO ACCIDENTS BY JOHN Along with driver exchange form, was renral car info from accident and repair documents for THIS 2010 Subaru Forester!! IM SICK TO MY STOMACH . Do not trust. Verify ALL YOURSELF, DO NOT BELIEVE WHAT YOU ARE TOLD ARE WHAT YOU ARE QUICKLY SHOWN ON COMPUTER. DO YOUR OWN RESEARCH Horrible! Nothing but issues. Purchased a month ago $6700, drove 1000 miles. 2010 forester with 159k miles. Car would not start , battery was dead(did not leave door open as Vincient insisted) had to purchase $172 Oil filter not changed during oil change(confirmed by certified mechanic,as well as small oil leak), oil light flickered and car puttered. Took to get oil change,tire rotation, cabin filter and air filter.$123. Mechanic diagnosed timing belt and spark plugs $1451.92 as well coolant flush($137) and power steering flush($109) Was told no warrenty offered when purchasing. Car still had issues. Dealership would not assist with ANY of the repairs after charging for suv that was in excellent condition. Suv was priced in excellent condition at top of KBB $6999, THAT IS NOT ACCURATE WITH CONDITION, PRICES OR ANYTHING FOR THAT MATTER! (As seen in $2000 in repairs a month later) DO NOT PURCHASE. DO NOT GET RIPPED OFF.

Belmonte Auto Imports has been in business for 10 years with hundreds of repeat, referral and satisfied customers, but unfortunately we cannot satisfy everyone. In this particular situation the vehicle was a 2010 with 159,000 miles that had been serviced and had a NC inspection, additionally we discussed and agreed to replace the headrest and trunk mat which we did. A warranty was offered but was not purchased, and by NC law all vehicles sold in NC are sold AS-IS or with a warranty. We routinely invite our customers to take a vehicle of interest to any third-party mechanic of their choice for a pre-purchase inspection before the sale of the vehicle is final, because once sold the customer is responsible all service and maintenance for the vehicle. As stated at BelmonteAuto.com all vehicles are serviced and inspected prior to sale, and that flood, junk, salvage, or branded titled vehicles are never part of the our inventory. We sell quality, pre-owned vehicles and while some may have cosmetic imperfections, our focus is on current service, NC inspection and most importantly, Belmonte vehicles all have clean titles.
They put their customers first
I purchased a Chevy Captiva from them and they put me first. They listened to what was truly needed and not just trying to “make a sale”. Belmonte remembers what the handshake deal means and no dirty tricks. I recommend them to everyone.

2010 Ford F-150
Bought a 2010 Ford F-150 from them about a month ago. Great buying experience, everyone there was awesome. Truck was under blue book, and in like new condition. Very happy with this purchase! Thanks again Belmonte!

Shady Place
Tried to buy a used mercedes that was supposed to be in good shape. Huge scratch on driver door and 3 dents on rear driver side door. Huge crack in windshield from a rock or something. Passenger seatbelt alarm rings whenever it feels like it and stops whenever it feels like it. Dealer said they would fix windshield and alarm. I waited for the repairs. Late that night I got a text while i was at home. Says they can't find a lender for me. Garbage!! Ive been approved at other dealers and I just got a better car anyways. Guess they disnt want to repair the car. Oh well. Your loss. Garbage Dealer stay away!!

Good Service, Friendly Staff
I purchased a used mini-van from Belmonte around June of this year. Overall it was a very good experience. I personally have never liked the car buying process, but I have to say that my experience with Belmonte was different from any other experience. They offered a fair price, was willing to negotiate, and was willing to be flexible with the down payment. Financing was simple and quick. I really appreciated that there wasn't any game playing, back and forth, hounding, or deception. Everyone was straight forward and transparent. The vehicle is in very good condition and runs like a new car. Also, when I visited the dealer a second time to pick up my tags, I mentioned to a guy there (who turned out to be the owner) that we were having problems with the DVD player after purchase. Even though we bought the vehicle as-is, he offered to have a third-party repair man come out to my house and fix it at their expense. It turns out the DVD player was fine but, I thought it was a nice gesture. I got great service from this dealer. I would definitely recommend and consider them for purchasing again.

What a ripoff
I tried to purchase a Mercedes from them and when I tried to get a loan for the car and turns out the car was already sold to someone else. I will never buy from them.
