This dealership advertised a 2024 Genesis GV70 for sale. It was the color I wanted so I called and over several conversations I agreed to purchase the car. I live in Tennessee and bought a ticket to fly to New Orleans to buy the car. Before leaving I sent a text specifically asking if there were 2 keys. Answer from Elizabeth at the dealership: "Yeah it has 2". When I got there they said it only has one BUT they will send me the second on within the week. Three weeks ago I had to call them asking the status of the key. I was told they were not responsible for having to get me another key BUT they were going to "...take care of me." They contacted the dealer and was quoted a price they said was too high and they were going to look for another solution. Right now I am in limbo. I will update this if or when something changes.

NOT SURE WHERE TO START. THIS SERVICE DEPARTMENT SHOULD BE SHUT DOWN. MY HUSBAND TRUCK WAS IN THE SHOP FOR OVER TWO MONTHS. THEY PUT OVER 15 PARTS ON IT AND IT STILL WOULD NOT START. DALE SHOULD RETIRED . HE MOVES AND TALKS SLOW. HE COULD CARE LESS ABOT THE PEOPLE AND HIS JOB. MY HUSBAND HAD TO GET HIS TRUCK TOTALLED AND HAD TO GO THROUGH MY INSURANCE. ALL BECAUSE I MENTIONED JOE IN SERVICE THAT MY NEIGHBOR CAR WAS STRUCK BY LIGHTENING AND THEY JUMPED AT THE CHANCE AND SAID OH THAT'S WHAT HAPPENED TO YOUR HUSBAND TRUCK. xxxxxxxx. THEY KNOW THEY MESSED MY HUSBAND TRUCK UP AND WAS TRYING TO COVER THERE xxx. THEY SAID OH WE CAN'T FIND THE PARTS YOU NEED FOR YOUR TRUCK . JUST CALL YOUR INSURANCE COMPANY AND GET IT TOTALLED . I WILL NEVER BUY A NISSAN EVER. I HAVE TOLD ALL MY FAMILY AND FRIENDS NEVER BUY A NISSAN AND NEVER GO TO THIS DEALERSHIP. (SLIDELL)THEY CLAIM THEY STOP MAKING PARTS FOR CERTAIN TRUCKS. MY HUSBAND TRUCK HAD ONLY 104,000 MILES HIS TITAN. THAT TRUCK WAS NOT CHEAP. HE BOUGHT IT BRAND NEW. IT WAS IN GOOD CONDITION. JOE TRIED TO GET US TO BUY ANOTHER TRUCK OFF THIS LOT. THAT'S A JOKE. I WILL ALSO PUT THIS ON SOCIAL MEDIA. I HAVE TOLD PEOPLE ABOUT THIS AND THEY START LAUGHING ABOUT THE STRUCK BY LIGHTING PART. JOKE OFF A PLACE. We reviewed this situation and would like to clarify if possible. The 2011 Titan was brought in with a concern that bad gas was added to the tank. Several codes showed up in our diagnostic check. Each time we addressed one issue, another would arise through no fault of our own. When our Service Manager spoke to Mrs. Parker about this, she told us about the neighbor’s lightning strike. Now it made sense! Based on what we were seeing, Mr. Parker’s truck was also affected. When lightning strikes a vehicle or near a vehicle we can fix one problem and another will then show up. We sent all the data to Nissan for their recommendation. They determined that the Titan needed an ECM. However, the ECM is no longer available for this truck since it is 13 years old. Your insurance company then decided to total the truck as the cost of repairs was now going to exceed the value of the vehicle. We believe we approached the situation with integrity and honesty and we did all we could do to help repair the Titan. To help you we provided a free rental vehicle while your truck was here at our dealership for free. We do wish that the Titan would have been salvageable however, that was not the case according to your insurance company. As I walked into the dealership for my meeting with Khristy, feeling a little nervous. I was greeted by a few people mainly because of my Hogwarts shirt. It was the warmest welcome I've ever encountered at a dealership. Khristy and the GM (can't remember his name but I know what Hogwarts House he's in) both were great! Needless to say I left very happy in my '23 Nissan Altima. The following week I had phone calls from Khristy just to make sure everything was ok and if I needed anything, it was truly easy and she is a wonderful person. There's not enough stars to rate! 100 points goes to Khristy (Slytherin house). Thanks again!
