Great car buying experience.

Great car buying experience. Jonathan was great. Sales desk worked the deal quickly, and finance did an awesome job. Reiser followed up with me later. Really appreciated their honesty and being upfront about cost.

I called three times to make an appointment left a

I called three times to make an appointment left a message with the service manager never got a call back. I had to drive down to the dealership in order to make an appointment to get my vehicle serviced and then had to go back home. Pick up the vehicle in question and take it back

I first went to the dealership in January to see what

I first went to the dealership in January to see what they had because I had a loan from my credit union. When I got there I gave them my approval letter to see what I could look at and what deals could be done. Unfortunately they told me they could help me even though they were unable to. We were unable to get a deal done with my approval letter being that I needed to cover 10% of the msrp. They said they could get something done with their lenders but promised not to run my credit more than needed. They preceded to run my credit at least 6 times even after I told them I want to just wait til I got some money to cover the deal I got with my credit union. While this was going on it is winter and they had the ac on in the building. I had to go to the bathroom just to stay warm. I eventually got the keys back to my car I was wanting to trade in at almost 8:45 and I got there at 5:30. They were still running my credit the next day. I eventually got a car from them two weeks ago but it was because it was the best deal for me but I would prefer to never shop at Carlsbad Chevrolet for another car. Their customer service was unsatisfactory and my credit union did most of the work. Not to mention the cleaning job they did on the car was unsatisfactory as well. All around they need a lot of improvement and I hope this review leads to that improvement.

Service department rip off

This place is horrible at customer service. The place is great at taking your money but once you drive off the lot, they wave you goodbye forever. The fact that you bought a $60000 truck from them a year ago means nothing to them. They will have forgotten about that purchase and find a way to make any issues you are having an issue that is not covered under warranty. They immediately made me feel as though they were not going to be covering a brake failure issue under warranty???? There are 1000's of online reviews about the issue but nope my particular issue was unrelated even though there are hundreds of bad reviews about the same issue. Not to mention they said it would be about 2 weeks to diagnose the issue and they would not offer a loaner of any sort until after the diagnosis that they were already hinting would not be a warranty issue. The truck is xxxx near new and has had no break work completed or accidents?? I had to rent a vehicle out of pocket while i waited for the diagnosis. Then they called me with a quote for $3000!! They are horrible

Lied about amount did not have it ready when said

Gave a quote for a tune up I said ok took 4 days for a tune up they charged 2 times the amount they quotevery upset when you give a quote for a tune up and they tell you everything that needs to be done and still charge twice the amount definitely will go out of town to a different dealership from now

Took vehicle in Tuesday morning for analysis and repair,

Took vehicle in Tuesday morning for analysis and repair, service manager advised me it would be a couple of days (the way I understand is a couple is 2), this sounded reasonable to me. Wife and I ( a couple) were also in the market for an SUV. Our salesman was very helpful in explaining what they had to offer, yet when we asked for prices of ones we were interested in he said he didn't, mgmt. knew but would get mad if the sale staff asked in advance, NO SALE here. Back to repair of my vehicle. Waited a couple of days for response, not happening, finally had to send a text, which the salesman we talked to responded and found out that nothing had been done to the vehicle, possibly early next week. Called service the following Monday (the 6th day) and was told nothing had been done and they may get to it that day. I told them not to touch it and I would be there very shortly to get it. Upon entering the service dept. the service stated "Sir you were advised it would be a couple of days". She also asked me to sign some forms which I refused and stated "You did nothing to my vehicle and I will not sign anything". Through their BS they not only lost a customer, they also lost the sale of a vehicle. I will never deal with or recommend them to anyone. I tried to rate them a couple of points (6) lower on the scale but don't know how to count the way they do.

Stay Away

Set appointment for repair of truck for 8:30 Tues morning, upon arriving at service dept. I was informed it would be a couple of days before they could run test, sounds reasonable. We were also in the market for an SUV, salesman was very accommodating, yet when questioned as to the price of vehicles we were looking at he stated he did not know, but mgmt. knew yet if the salesman asked ahead of time mgmt. would get mad. Back to my truck, after a few days I had to send a text to inquire about it, was informed at that time nothing had been done. Called Monday, six days later, and was told nothing had been done, but may work on it that day, I told them not to touch it and I would be there shortly to get it. Upon entering the service dept. the service said "Sir, you were informed it would be a couple of days". I guess to her 6 is a couple. I will never again deal with this business or recommend it to anyone. They not only lost a customer, they lost the sale of a vehicle. Upon reading several of their past reviews, this seems to be a common occurrence. I would rate them a couple (6) of points lower but I don't know how to count the way they do.
