rebuilt title is not the way to go

I purchased a 2014 Subaru impreza from Auto source Lindon last year and I have been very unsatisfied. The refinish on the car is pour quality. almost the entire car has been repainted and they're are blemishes all over the car. They're also multiple little finish pieces from the car that are missing. I feel as though the sales person told me what I wanted to hear about the car to try and sell it rather than what I needed to hear. In the long run I would never purchase or a refer anyone to a salvage/rebuilt title car. I feel as though the cars are pieced together to a point that they look good and function well on the lot so that the dealer can sale them and they put a ridiculous mark up on top of the car and in my experience Auto source had a ton of dealer ship fees that are much higher than other dealers I've looked at recently. I strongly encourage you to NOT buy a salvage title. It is a trap that looks good at first so you can get into a "nicer" car for less. Now Im not saying the experience at Auto Source Lindon was bad, the sales representative was very nice and the dealer ship is very comfortable and professional.

Worst dealership ever from my experience ........

this Is the worst dealership have ever been to In my life , they try to cheat , they are not transparent for one minute. Be careful!!!

Laid back and personable!

The dealer was very personable, patient, and transparent. I appreciated their honesty about the process and implications for buying with them. Their lighthearted demeanors were also appreciated.

As company

4000$ in repairs over the last year! All related the the accident. Dealer didn’t disclose severity of the accident. Electronic Power steering gear, cv axel, rear control arm, all the places that had body damaged is cracked and paint is chipped, ruined one set of tires. All in 1 year. They are a bad company.

Joseph was Very helpful

Joseph wasn't pushy, he found all the information I needed to make an informed buying decision, and let me walk away with just his card. I will probably be back to purchase.

Great experience

They were super friendly and helpful and we got a car for a great deal!! Definitely a great place to shop for a car. We will be back for our next vehicle!

Do your homework

Katie was very nice and helpful and patient. However , knowing we had concerns about the car we liked she really didn?t over much help without us asking and still we didn?t really feel our concerns were validated. We ended up, thankfully, buying from a different dealer that also sells rebuilt cars. The car was less money,fewer miles, the owner gladly fixed the only concern we had and showed us all of the before pictures so we knew what we were buying. We weee never offered a single picture from autosource and had to ask for info on the damage. If Autosource believes they sell a quality product they should happily offer any and all info on all cars on the lot

Kimm, we're happy that ultimately you found a car that you feel meets your needs. In talking with Katie about your experience she informed me that there weren't any "before" photos available for the car in which you were interested. Often the insurance auctions document the vehicles in their salvaged state but on this particular vehicle there just weren't any available. I also learned that the car you ended up purchasing from a different dealer was a FWD car vs. the AWD model you were looking at at our dealership. The difference in drivetrain would explain the difference in pricing, especially in the Utah market.

Had a bad paint job, and the dealership took care of it. They are working on fixing the bumper and the paint on it. Really appreciate them fixing the problem

They did a fast paint job on my car now I have to

I recommend not to buy a car here they don?t care about their customer all they care about is making sells.. they did a fast paint job just to sell the car I understand mechanical problems but the PAINT? I?ve had 3 cars and this has never happened to me.. I have to pay a lot just to repaint the front, sides and hood.. yeah they have nice cars with low miles and good price but honestly don?t buy it.. I went talked to the manager and he said he?ll see what he can do took my name and phone number it?s been two weeks I call them and no one ever answers me or calls me back.. smh

Staff works hard and well

Excellent service- Despite all the complications my unique situation brought to the table, the employees I worked with helped me through each step cheerfully, looking into issues and pulling strings to help smooth and expedite the process of buying a car. I'm very grateful in particular to Katie and Nathan.
