I visited Hyundai of Garden Grove today with the intent
I visited Hyundai of Garden Grove today with the intent to purchase a used Ford Ranger that was clearly advertised online at $36,000. Once I arrived, however, I quickly realized this was a textbook bait-and-switch. The dealership attempted to tack on over $7,000 worth of “aftermarket parts” that were already installed on the car. What should have been a $40,000 out-the-door price (with taxes and fees) was inflated to over $48,000 for a three-year-old vehicle. While I understand dealerships need to make a profit, marketing a car at one price to get customers in the door and then inflating it with hidden costs is deceptive and unethical. Even if the fine print tries to justify it, it’s not honest business practice. Customers should never feel blindsided with thousands of dollars in surprise charges—especially for items they didn’t ask for. Because of this, I walked away and will take my business elsewhere. Hyundai of Garden Grove lost a serious buyer today due to misleading practices, and I strongly encourage others to be cautious before wasting their time.

The worst car dealership in SoCal.
The worst car dealership in SoCal. They will scam you and tell you lies. They are a embarrassment to society, especially their finance, Jose.

Buyers beware!
Buyers beware! This is the most dishonest dealership I have ever dealt with in my 40+ years of buying a vehicles. I did all my homework online and found the vehicle I wanted. I pre qualified and knew exactly what my price would be give or take few bucks. I made an appointment 3 days in advance with Jeff. I did all the talking my husband was there just to sigh paperwork. This took forever, 3 hours. They knew we had to leave at noon as I mentioned that several times. Jeff tried selling me every add on they had and I refused them all often cutting him off because I had no interest in anything. I told him over and over I wanted nothing extra. It came down to 11:45 and we really had to go. When my husband was signing paperwork the woman talked but never and I repeat NEVER explained what they added on. Appearance package $895 Tow package $395 And a tracking package for $1195 for 4 years. Who decided that? Who explained any of these items? No explanation, no paperwork! These things were never explained or approved! Very, very sneaky and dishonest. When I called the GM his response was “To bad you signed a contract “ Horrible customer service from the GM!! I am in shock at the sneaky actions of this dealership. The owner asked that I contact him and he has ghosted me. I left a review on another site and have been contacted by others who had this same experience. This dealership will take advantage of you. Dishonest and deceitful. BEWARE! I am contacting corporate because this is completely unacceptable. This dealership should be ashamed of the was they do business. I am trying to cancel these “add ons “ but they make it so hard. I will not tolerate this shady dealership and will continue to warn others. Worst dealership around!

We purchased a 2021 Ford Expedition.
We purchased a 2021 Ford Expedition. To be fair we did not purchase the warranty. Did not think we had to on a 3yr old vehicle. We have had the vehicle. Less than 3 months. Purchased on memorial day weekend. When we drove off the lot everything seemed to be working in perfect condition. Within the first month i started having issues with the reclining seats. 3rd row will not go down. And there is no manual option to put them down. # Air conditioner started running warm. We took it in to get an estimate at an honest mechanic that we know. He said that there has been a slow leak. And I don't remember the name of the part in that area but it blew up and is hard to get to. That will end up being a $2,600 fix Also the sun roof is not opening all the way. I did call the dealership and spoke to the agent who sold me the vehicle. And expressed my frustrations with how unhappy I was about all this. All he said was sorry. Well I'm sorry. This is UNEXCEPTIONABLE. We were told on the day we purchased our vehicle that it went through inspection and everything checked out. If the vehicle went through proper inspection I would think they would have noticed the slow a/c leak and the problem that was going on?? I don't expect anything in return Except it would have been nice if the dealership/Yusef who helped us during our purchase offer for us to come in and see what they could do about getting our car repaired. Instead of offering us a trade in. I love the car we purchased. There was a reason we purchased that day. We just expected more from a Garden Grove Hyundai. The care for their customers and the after purchase is definitely something they are lacking.

I had a similar experience to every other review on this
I had a similar experience to every other review on this dealership. They announce a car at a certain price, then you have to text/email/call many times to get someone to really answer. When I asked them to send me the price in writing, they told me that they add about $4k in accessories (GPS, Paint protection, etc). They are not able to honor the listed price. This is the typical bait and catch scheme. I would not recommend to deal with this dealership and will follow up with Hyundai parent company. I have been a 12 year Hyundai client, a very happy customer and this is a disservice to a great brand.

Took my car in for a start-stop issue and a Transmisson
Took my car in for a start-stop issue and a Transmisson fluid change. David my service advisor held my car all day to tell me they would need to keep my car longer for the start-stop because the battery was fine. I rescheduled they kept my car all day to tell I needed a battery. Then he wanted to charge like 580 dollars for a battery. My husband put a new battery in from Auto Zone and the start-stop starting working fine. Do your homework before you go to a dealer. Remember they're a sales rep. This is the worst dealer I've ever encountered.

I inquired about a Tesla @ $24,000.
I inquired about a Tesla @ $24,000. The representative said the car wasn't at their location so he would try to get it back same day & be ready to show me tomorrow. Then I see the listing went up to $25k so I emailed the rep to cancel & the manager reached out to me & said they would be happy to offer me the car @ $24.5k.

This is the most dishonest dealer I have ever dealt with
This is the most dishonest dealer I have ever dealt with in 62 years. They are dishonest, on the phone, in email, in text and in person. Everyone who works at this dealer is dishonest. They all know what they are doing is dishonest. Our experience. We found a car advertised on cars.com that was too good to be true. We called, texted and emailed to verify the price. Each person assured us that the price in the ad was the price of the car. When we arrived, the tag on the car was $13,000 higher than the advertised price. We asked the salesman if the price was still $17,100 and he said yes... but maybe we want some of their dealer adons (which we didn't). They sat down with us and said the final cost would be $26,100. Almost $9 more than the advertised price. Shocked we worked the price down to $21,500, which in fact is a pretty good price for the car. We walked after realizing how dishonest they had been. If you work here, quit and join the world of honest humans.

BUYER BEWARE!
BUYER BEWARE!!! ASK QUSESTIONS Saw an Advertised Price on CARGURU when I went to attempt to purchase the car at the listed price, I found out that there was over 4k in unadvertised mark-ups on the vehicle. In essence the advertised price was no the actual price. I think that's called bait and switch.
