Hi Adonis.nabong, we appreciate your honest review. We set a high standard for ourselves, so we are disappointed to hear that your experience with us was not a positive one. We strive to help every customer purchase a vehicle, however not all customers will receive a offer from the banks they approve.

Very deceptive finance practices

Love the car but not the deceptive financing practices. Ignored the pre-qualification from Westlake, ran my credit multiple times without telling me so know I have multiple hard inquiries on my credit report. Interestingly, they started me out with a 17.99 interest rate and got it down to 12.99. They don’t use sub-prime lenders. Kept trying to push me to purchase the warranty and when I said I couldn’t afford a higher monthly payment, the finance guy said he’d give me a 3-year warranty. I thought he meant for free. No, what they did was play with the interest rate to keep the monthly payment the same and still sell the warranty. I didn’t notice until a few days later when I was reviewing my loan docs. Yes, that was on me for not reviewing every line before signing. I emailed my sales associate twice no response. I called and he pushed me off to the business office and I was told I have to bring the paperwork in to review. We figured out what they did with interest rate. I’m betting I either keep the the warranty and lower interest rate or no warranty and higher interest rate.

Hi Shirleyshoo, we regret to hear that you are displeased with your recent experience with us. Our systems do not allow a employee to run your credit multiple times. Likely your pre-approval from Westlake needed to be verified by Westlake. We disclose every item at the time of purchase, so we are as transparent as possible. Please contact our store manager if you feel you have any unresolved issue with your purchase. 650-843-6028, John will speak with you.

I have had an Honda for about 10 years now and have worked with dealerships in a few States as I have had to move. I can say with great certainty that this dealership is the worst to deal with for any Servicing questions. As someone else had mentioned, if you try to call them, you are on a wait/hold for ever. If you try to send a message through their website, you almost immediately get a sales related follow-up email. You respond to it and clarify that you are looking for service and not sales -- then you don't get any response at all, and that's the way it is for weeks. It is understandable they don't have a lot of competition in the Palo Alto/MV area, and I think that's likely the reason for them not being respectful to customers. I hope some of these online reviews have an impact on this dealership and that they get back to doing the basics right.

Hi Paul Williams, thank you so much for your positive comments about Anderson Honda!

It was amazing experience working Anderson Honda.

It was amazing experience working Anderson Honda. We got the rate and all the details confirmed on the phone with Craig for pilot. But few days later we decided we wanted Odyssey and we reached out back and got in touch with Les Leonardo as Craig was on leave. Les gave all the info and they were the best price for what we wanted. Came into dealership where Les had already kept most the things ready and car outside. Checked out the car, signed papers and met Steven at finance for payment stuff. During that time car was made ready n working 90mins left the dealership with car. It was all super smooth. I would highly recommend Anderson Honda.

I recently purchased a vehicle from Anderson Honda in

I recently purchased a vehicle from Anderson Honda in Palo Alto. First, the positives: This dealership has a welcoming, low key atmosphere with a friendly and helpful vibe. Straightforward sales process. However, the extremely low ball offer on my current car was disappointing. Also, Sanjay in the finance department was an extremely fast talker as he pitched the importance of the extended warranty. I did at times, have trouble understanding him. My advice to anyone who wants to purchase a vehicle, new or used: do your research about the MSRP and all the extra fees/taxes you'll have to pay to purchase. Know exactly what you do - and don't - want before you head to the dealership. It's an eye opening experience for someone like me who doesn't buy a car often, especially a new one from a dealership! Overall, my experience was good, and I thank all the friendly and knowledgeable salesmen who helped me. The day after the sale, Robert personally delivered the car to my home, which I very much appreciated! Great job, thank you Robert!

Hi Roadworthy, thank you for taking the time to let us know about your recent experience. We are disappointed to hear that you are not satisfied with your visit.

I bought a used 2018 Honda Fit LX from this dealership in

I bought a used 2018 Honda Fit LX from this dealership in 2022, which was, understandably the peak of car sale prices. The salesman who attended us the day we test drove the car, was a pushy, lying xxxxxxx, and was trying his best to pressure us into buying it the same day. He kept telling us that the car was in high demand and that we would have to act fast if we wanted it. When we eventually purchased the car, it was missing updated registration stickers as well a front license-plate which they assured would be delivered to me within a week or two, which never happened. I contacted the dealership multiple times to request the missing documentation, and it took 3 MONTHS to finally receive the tags! I was constantly given excuses, and I was never able to get a straight answer as to why it was taking so long. Within 6 months of purchase, the car's battery also died which needed replacement. The dealership refused to cover this even though they had assured us of the car passing their "rigorous 100 point test". When I asked for more information about the test, they were unable to provide any. In all of this, the front license plate never arrived and I finally received a traffic citation for it. I ended up having to go to the DMV myself, pay for the plates as well as to get the violation corrected. I am FURIOUS with the way that the dealership has handled everything. I feel that I was misled about the condition of the car and that I have been taken advantage of. It seemed like a good deal financially at the time, but looking back, I was scammed and would like future customers of this dealership to be aware of the poor customer service and borderline shady sales practices. I would give this dealership a 0 out of 5 stars if I could. I would not recommend this dealership to anyone, and I would strongly advise you to avoid them at all costs. I hope this helps!
