Dealership was great in sale, but that's it. After the sale, placing tags on new vehicle, coordinating new fob, that was it! Don't worry us anymore! Dealership jipped us out of a floor mat; didn't detail the inside of the vehicle. Texted Sales, about the missing floor mat. Just got a nice text back, to get me off of the text string. No sense of urgency, to correct! Dust, dirty hand prints, on the beige interior. We feel sales rep didn't inspect vehicle for issues, after the dealer detailer finished. My question is: what else wasn't done before we purchased vehicle?

I am again impressed with my 2018 Hyundai Sonata that I
I am again impressed with my 2018 Hyundai Sonata that I bought in 2017. This morning, an inattentive man at a stop sign was making a left turn and pulled out right in front of me. I quickly slammed on the brakes. I could feel my ABS pulsing and my car stopped just inches from the man’s vehicle. I love my car! If it ever happens that I need to replace it, I’ll be back to see Michael Silberman at Sport Durst. Louise Dillard ( Linwood’s wife)

I’m very disappointed still having to make payment
Purchase 2017 Honda Coupe,we drove off the lot.The car had to go back same day all the lights on in dashboard did even make it 1/2 a mile.Sales came got vehicle called next day to pick up car.The car made it home,next day same thing.The car has been back 4 times now we want to trade car Credit Union states not offering enough for trade.They knew the car wasn’t and good,now they sending us to other dealerships

Oil Consumption
My vehicle has used over 6 quarts of oil in 3 months. Several mechanics told me about this being an issue with my model and to contact corporate headquarters. I did that, received a claim number and contacted Sport Durst. Or tried to since they didn't answer the customer service phones. So I went there and couldn't get an appointment for 3 more weeks. By then it needed 4 quarts of oil. I had to come back for round 2 of testing. Went back and 2 more quarts were used. They said they would contact corporate and get back to me. 3 weeks later and no news. I finally talk to someone today who says my vehicle was denied for the final round of testing. To make this short, I would NEVER recommend this dealership to anyone! Their lack of communication has been an issue since the beginning. Ironically, 2 times in a row they claimed my tires had nail holes and I needed new tires. Never saw any holes, claimed they had already removed the nails, and my tire signals inside never showed an issue. VERY suspicious so I quit getting it serviced there. Plus, appointments were always 3-5 weeks out. Now, I will be contacting corporate again because I don't bet anything Sport Durst says. I liked my vehicle but would NEVER recommend this dealership.

BEST CAR BUYING EXPERIENCE EVER!
RESPECTFUL, HONEST, CARING, CUSTOMERS ARE TREATED LIKE FAMILY, PROVE THEY CARE, PROFESSIONAL, HELPFUL, ABOVE THE REST, MAKE YOU FEEL COMFORTABLE, and most importantly TRUSTWORTHY!!! (BEST car buying experience I have EVER had!) If I could rate higher than 5 stars I WOULD! This is by far the BEST place to go when you are looking for a vehicle! I was having a difficult time finding the car I wanted, and Kevin & Ms. Frankie WENT ABOVE AND BEYOND!!!!! They stayed several nights past closing with me, made phone calls to the banks, and they were honest with me every step of the way! I went into the dealership inexperienced, and a young woman who did not know much about financing a vehicle. Ms. Frankie sat down with me, explained all the different options, and let me know what she thought would be my best option. Their focus was not on getting me a car that would put more money in their pockets, but what was my best option considering the value, price, interest rate, and refinancing... and making sure I left out the door feeling happy and comfortable with my purchase. It is very difficult to trust a salesman, when you know the ultimate goal is to make a sale, but these people are GOOD TRUSTWORTHY PEOPLE! If I lived out of town, I would travel in the future just to deal with them, as that is how comfortable I feel with them. I would recommend anyone I know to go see KEVIN and MS. FRANKIE!!! I had a few issues and concerns, and they did not have to help me but they did! I had already purchased the vehicle, and noticed a few things that had me concerned. Instead of telling me they couldn't do anything about it since I had already purchased the vehicle, they looked it over, agreed with me, and offered to fix everything! I would like to stress, they did not have to do this, as I already made the purchase, but it is clear that they value their customers and uphold the standards of the vehicles that they sell!! Ms. Frankie stated her ultimate goal was to have me and my husband happy with what we got, and she not only said that, but put it into action! They gave me a loaner vehicle while the vehicle I purchased was being repaired. If they were trying to scam me, they very well could have, however they did the right thing and allowed for me to pick a different vehicle or give them the chance to fix everything I was wanting fixed. Like I stated, I had already purchased the vehicle and didn't realize a few things until after the fact (that they were also unaware of), and they were extremely respectful and willing to help! I had an issue with one of the tires, and Kevin met me well after they closed on the side of the road to help me change a tire, and then they ordered me all new tires because of the inconvenience. I was SHOCKED at that act of kindness I was not expecting! I don't know any other car salesman you could call at 8:45pm at night and they come meet you to help you put a spare tire on your vehicle, after spending hours with you at the dealership already. It is truly amazing and unbelievable at how great of an experience I had, I could not say enough great things about this dealership and the people that work there. If you question the validity of anything I have stated, I am not related to anyone here, just met them last week, and feel free to reach out to me if you have any questions on my experience!!! Hyundai Service Team seriously needs attention
My Car was in Service for over a month. In this time there were hardly 2 call i received for an update on my car. I called the Hyundai Team number of times (10+ calls and 10+ VoiceMails) and there was no single response. I had to physically go to the location to get the status update on the car and only thing I hear was it's still work in progress with no ETA. One fine day, I received a call (after 40 days) they just mentioned it's fixed and pick up your car. I picked up the car in the morning and the Service representative mentioned Sir, your car is detailed and ready. When I checked the car, it was not even touched and dust all over the place. I asked the representative there and he said oh it's not detailed I am so sorry. This is the kind of service you get. I asked about the problem with car and the representative just read the lines from the records. They are not even sure what the problem was and just said this is what is written in the form. What kind of skill/knowledge is that? After 40 days, you get your car back without any explanation or any courtesy of cleaning the car. I could have given 0 or negative stars but there is not option. I will never recommend this dealership again.

Worst Customer Service Ever!
It is an absolute shame that mistakes and customer service shortcomings are apparently so prevalent at Sport Durst that departmental, dealership and even corporate leadership is numb to addressing it in a timely and definitive manner. “I’m too busy” is not an excuse for poor customer service – if you had better trained employees and made fewer mistakes, you would be less busy. But I have a feeling that problem will rectify itself when customers stop coming. It is telling that management names and contact information is omitted from their website – they do not want to hear from you. There are two types of customers at Sport Durst Hyundai; 1) Prospective customers they will tell anything to make a sale and, 2) Former customers they never want to hear from again because they already have your money. Do not reward this type of incompetence and abhorrent customer service by patronizing them. Let’s be frank, Dealerships add little to no value to the car buying process. Their only role is to complete paperwork accurately and provide local customer support for the products they sell. Sport Durst fails monumentally on both accounts. Below are just a few highlights of my horrendous experience with Sport Durst/Millennial Automotive Group. - Called sales rep (Taylor) and asked her to do walk around of vehicle to note any damage as I would be driving from 2 ½ hours to purchase a demo car. Rep indicated no damage yet when I arrived there was very visible damage to the rear bumper. - Finance Director (Dennis) misrepresented terms of CPO warranty indicating that service under the warranty had no customer copay/deductible and that the warranty period would commence from the date and mileage the vehicle was delivered to me. Both statements are inaccurate and contradicted by the CPO Warranty terms and conditions posted on Hyundai’s website and in the paper work he provided to me. Also did not sign the CPO documents and listed incorrect lienholder on sales documents. - Left repeated messages for Finance Director, Sales Manager, General Manager and even the MidAtlantic sales director for assistance in acquiring the corrected documents. No response to emails and verbal promises to provide were not followed-through. Excuse given was that they were busy and had paperwork everywhere - that's encouraging - Plates were deliver to dealership for pickup (2 1/2 hrs away) despite assurances they would be mailed to me directly.

False advertised pricing and rude sales person
Called to check the availability of one of their cars they advertised on here, the sales person claims the listing price on Cars.com is a “mistake” and the real price is over 1500 of the listed number. Sales person told me the listing is a “mistake” and they will change it right now when I question them why the prices are different. It’s been over a week now, the particular car is still listed at the lower price. Sales person had a rude attitude and unprofessional language throughout the conversation.

They don't value customer's time
New to the area and we own 2 Mazda vehicles. We received a recall notice for one the vehicles. Called up Sport Durst Mazda to schedule the recall service appointment, had the hardest time trying to even get an appointment. Since it was a recall they needed the VIN, which I did not have handy at the time. So, after a few minutes of trying to get the Rep. to schedule the appoint and that I would call in later with the VIN, I was able to get her to agree and schedule the appoint. Then I remembered we just received the property tax bill, and that would have the VIN on it. So far, other than being a bit annoyed by their process, I was okay with the whole thing. Now we get to setting the date and time, I ask for how long it will take to do the service. She informed me and I requested a loaner car. She than told me that they don't offer loaner cars for this type of service appointment. I just told her to forget the appoint and thanked her for her time. It's a shame, because our old dealership, Mazda of South Charlotte, treats us so well. They always have loaners for us no matter the appointment. We never have to jump through hoops to get an appointment to begin with. If this is how Sport Durst Mazda treats their customers, I will never purchase a vehicle from them. I would rather purchase from Mazda of South Charlotte (even with the drive - it would be worth it!!). I was really surprised by the level of customer service, or lack-there-of. Anyway, they just lost a customer in us. We will take our business to a place that values their client's time and know how to deliver exception customer service. There are just too many other great dealerships to choose from to settle for this poor level of customer care. Kind of makes sense why they have a 2.5 out of 5 star rating.
