Thanks to Syed for a great experience!

This dealership was very welcoming and willing to work with me. I returned my previous lease early and was looking for something similar. They took their time with me and showed me different cars in the model that I had mentioned I wanted. Syed was our salesman and he went above and beyond to explain to us every detail along with the manager. I never enjoy car shopping, I find it very stressful. However, this experience was stress free! My finance and I will be back when our next lease is up! One critique is that they did not have many colors in the Cruze that I wanted on the lot. But we ended up finding one that did catch my eye! Thank you for wonderful service!!!

A fantastic experience.

Lianne was knowledgeable, sweet and patient. She helped us through a difficult decision and was lovely throughout the entire experience. I would highly recommend this dealership to all my friends and family.

Good Experience

I had a very good experience at Richard Lucas Subaru. They were fair and honest with my recent Subaru purchase. This was my first car buying experience and my time with Phil was the reason I decided to purchase a Subaru. I hope I will enjoy this car so I can once again purchase another Subaru.

Crooked Practices

I negotiated a price ahead of time with Dave and Damian over the phone and internet. I confirmed three times the out the door price included NYC taxes and tags. They knew it was a 45 min ride to the dealership for me. I did not want to waste my time nor theirs. When I arrived to the dealership they played the bait and switch game. The price all of the sudden was not accurate. They made a mistake calculating the taxes apparently. I confirmed that it was NYC taxes and plates and even confirmed the tax rate ahead of time--i understand mistakes happen but they offered nothing but an insincere apology. They didn't even offer any other incentive to meet me half way on the issue. It was only a $400 difference. It wasn't the money, it was the principle. These crooks don't deserve my business. Steer clear! I went down the road to Sansone Nissan and purchased a brand new Nissan Altima instead. Drove it off the lot two hours later.

Avoid this dealership!

I recently purchased a vehicle from this dealership, and I would not purchase from them again in the future. I recommend that you do not purchase from them as well. The dealership is very unorganized. Necessary paperwork is often lost or responsible parties are unreachable. In addition if you do purchase from this dealership, I would recommend that any extras that you have negotiated with the dealer be delivered to you in full at the time of delivery of the vehicle. If that means you need to put a deposit on your dream car and wait for a few weeks for the dealer to come through then do it. I was purchasing a slightly used Subaru and was given a WE OWE document at the point of sale for some items that the dealership promised they would deliver. It's been several months now and they have yet to complete the sale with me. Each time I call I am given a different excuse for why the part did not come in. Don't make the same mistake I did and do avoid this place.

NO idea about customer service

Told me what ever I wanted to hear, even after I explained my situation of urgency, being that I needed a car within 1.5 weeks. "yeah yeah no problem we have a huge network, well get you your car in a few days" Dude weres my car? its been a week and I start work far away in a few days.. I need the car" "oops, i meant 2-3 weeks, thats what i meant" Why did you say that up front, that i had to wait 2-3 weeks?? "I didnt say that, the cars in such high demand that it will be at least 7-9 weeks! and that fee that I initally told you was a $500 locate fee, yeah its gonna be tough to get that back, since it wasnt really a locate fee, it was a deposit" ALso, please guys, im in sales too-please iron your shirts. That was my experience. I then went to World Subaru and dealt with a great crew over there with no BS.

Subaru Service at Richard Lucas Is Top Notch

I've had my 2013 Subaru Impreza for a little over a year now. I am thoroughly pleased with the craftsmanship exhibited by the service technicians. Their workmanship is outstanding. My appointments are kept on time and my wait time is as was quoted. Joe Napolitano worked on my car today for an oil change, replacement of filters and tire rotation. I am very pleased with the results. I would recommend this dealership both for the ease of purchasing my vehicle [with the help of Mike Provilon] and the quality of work performed by their service department. Carlos, the service advisor, was very thorough in explaining what my car needed and the costs involved. All in all, I'm very glad that I chose Richard Lucas Subaru when I went looking for a new car.

I bought a subaru from them in March of 2012 and I decided a year later that my interest was too high (10.5%) I bought the car for $26K and gave $10K at signing. I finance $16K and my payments were $313 monthly. Only $150 was going to principal and the rest was for interest. I decided to sell the car back to them a year later and they offered me only $17K for the car. I ended up selling the car to multi subaru for $18,500 . I came back a year later to get a price on a lease and they gave me ridiculous numbers and were very rude. I do not recommend them at all. I forgot to add that they took almost 2 months to get get me my plates .

Wonderful Personalized Service from Beginning to End!

I had a Kia for over 20 years, but my Husband wanted me to look at Subaru, he said they are more reliable and he liked the quality of the car. My Daughter had a Subaru for over three years and my Sister had one for five years so I gave a look. I was met by a fabulous person in Sales, Camron who took the time to show me all the qualities that were important to me. He was knowledgeable and never pressured me at any time. I fell in love with the Crosstrek! Mike in Finance walked me through all my options and was so polite and helpful in assisting me all the way through. And then Carlos in Service set me up for my followups and again was very kind and answered all my questions quickly and with a smile! And then I happily drove away in my Beautiful New Car! I am so happy to be a part of the Richard Lucas Subaru! Thank You all for your excellent customer care!
