I’ve never experienced a ‘Bait and Switch’ operation as

I’ve never experienced a ‘Bait and Switch’ operation as at Eastlake Auto Brokers. Eduardo guaranteed he’d offer me a free 3,000 mile warranty all to sway me from getting the inspection I planned and then last minute he rescinded that warranty guarantee just as purchase documents pushed at me. The tag team harassment by manager Gella Aamodt, Eduardo Laureano and another salesman barring me from taking the car for inspection at Toyota across the street resulted in my having to call the police just to release the car to get inspected that I had already put $2000 on as deposit. In the end Eduardo was shamed into giving me back the 3,000 mile warranty as promised but he couldn’t resist intentionally manipulating the odometer reading back 1000 miles on the warranty paperwork all to shortchange me from 3,000 mile down to 2,000 mile warranty…that’s until I called him out forcing him to rewrite the warranty policy with the actual odometer car mileage. Doctoring odometer readings is illegal. When I viewed this car it had no bad odors but interestingly after delivered had a horrendous odor of which was due to 10, yes 10, air freshener tabs hidden underneath the 2 front seats. This cost me hundreds in detailing to remove that odor. Another negative review of Eastlake Auto Brokers back in by Kaylee Oct 2023 on Dealer Rater also made claims about unbearable odor so beware of this tactic that appears to be a revenge move. As if the whole experience not bad enough the car ended up needing $4000 in repairs so no wonder they resisted my getting an inspection. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING THERE WITHOUT OUTSIDE INSPECTION PRIOR!!!! Would I ever do business again with Eastlake Auto…not a chance. Perfect example why Used Car salesmen have the bad reputation they do.

Eduardo was very friendly and honest. He did an excellent job at being transparent and explained everything very well along the way of buying my dream car. I feel like I made the right decision and I am very pleased with my experience buying my car at Eastlake auto. Never pushy! I would recommend this place to anyone!
