The overall experience at Grace Auto Group leaves ALOT to be desired. TLDR: Bait and Switch tactics led primarily by an incompetent finance manager and absentee owner. The singular positive part of the experience was Albert and the sales manager. Overall great sales folks and pleasant to work with. We stopped by on a Saturday to look at a 2016 Mazda, looked good, test drive went well, and we said we would be back Monday with a mechanic and to discuss financing. On Saturday we discussed bringing outside financing which we were assured they could do, and would be happy to also have a chance to "beat the rate". On Monday, the mechanic evaluated the car, and we followed up with them on financing. They in fact, DID NOT, beat the rate our outside financing had and as a result, we opted to remain with our financing. Enter the bait and switch tactic: - Outside financing was not an option anymore which was relayed to us via the salesman. - Suddenly the finance manager was unable to be reached by phone to discuss why the sudden reversal or the terrible rates they sourced themselves. - The owner was also out of office, but was supposed to call back the next day once the had a team huddle to discuss the issue. - Not only was the rate higher, they were suddenly unwilling to budge on the price even if it was financed through them. - They ran credit to finance companies that we explicitly asked them not to run against as they never have good rates and its a waste of our time. - They continued to push their financing as an option and that they could get better rates, despite failing the first few times. To top off the gravy train of ineptitude: The finance manager suggested, through others of course, that we take the rates their finance partners offered, then refinanced with our choice right after to ensure their kickback from their finance partner. While you can refinance almost immediately, the contract you sign will dictate the terms you agree to with their finance partner for how long you must wait before opting to refinance. This is dependent on the finance company but typically 30-90 days and done as a preventative for the finance company. The dealer of course, is not liable for this after signing.

This places bread and butter are “rebuilt” titles on transit vans. They claim “certified” but don’t let that deceive you. It’s their certification which is up to 3 months. I drove over a hour to get there and they couldn’t get my price where it needed to be. A day later, they reached out to let me know they could significantly lower it. They lost my business the moment they let me leave. Albert was a swell guy, you can never put the blame on the guy up front. It’s those sneaky, greedy finance guys giving them the numbers and raising the prices when they see more money to be made. The building needs a face lift, your coffee sucked, and for a Saturday morning, you could’ve put out some doughnuts. Stick to the warranty work the other shops send you to do. And stop throwing around the word certified like a means a xxxx thing. Just say you guarantee the xxxx thing for three months. Car places like this, they live up to the stereotype of dealerships. Albert, do yourself a favor and find a job at a reputable place or just go wait tables. You’re too nice of a guy to be working for these crooks.

Drove 2 hours to look at a Mercedes Grace Auto Group had on their lot. I had several questions regarding the vehicle before driving 2 hours to test drive it. My questions were promptly addressed and answered. The car was in excellent condition as advertised. The staff was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. I bought the vehicle! My salesman Blenner was a joy to work with and made the process smooth and pleasant. We also met with Rob the Manager who went over the final cost of the vehicle in detail. Overall a great experience! I highly recommend. Would also like to mention Adam who recommended a great restaurant nearby for lunch while my new car was getting cleaned and ready to drive home!!
