Transmission failed after a few months, they couldn’t
Transmission failed after a few months, they couldn’t diagnose the issue. Was told there was nothing they could do. Had to take to a dealer and $9k out of pocket later it’s like new.

Bought a truck there about 2 months ago.
Bought a truck there about 2 months ago. 1 week in it started leaking transmission fluid, so I contacted my local ford dealer to get work done with the extended warranty I purchased at harpswell auto. The warranty company said they can not cover it because that part was previously replaced by harpswell auto therefore should be under warranty through them. So I contacted them and they said that they are not responsible for that and the warranty company should be the one to do it. So after about 3 weeks of hounding the dealership to get me fixed up, they agree to pay darlings for the work I need done. Darlings agreed and said they just need someone from harpswell to call and say that they are going to front the bill. Well that takes another 3 weeks just to get someone to call darlings. In the mean time, my transmission completely blows up and leaves me without a vehicle. I have a 1 year old and a wife who’s 8 months pregnant and it’s a massive inconvenience for me to be short a vehicle. Harpswell did absolutely nothing to help with a loaner, and has now left the transmission work up to the warranty company, even though they were supposed to take care of it in the first place. They do not care to help you with your vehicle, I wouldn’t buy anything from here ever again. 6 weeks later I finally get one of their service guys to help me, and he got the situation taken care of in just a couple hours. So 6 weeks and a blown transmission is what it took for them to make a simple phone call. 0 stars

Went in to buy a vehicle. They were great to work with. Fully disclosed everything up front. Went over the vehicle to make sure that nothing needed to be replaced or repaired and if it did they fixed it. Alex my sales man was amazing.
