Do not spend your hard earned dollars at Bob Johnson Chevrolet. They are a bunch of scammers. I spent close to $5000 on a body repair and they came back a week later and told me they were going to charge my credit card $250 because the loaner they gave me smelled like smoke. I don't smoke and I did not smoke in the loaner car. I spoke to three people in the service department and they were not customer focused. They want to make the quick sale and then don't give a crap.

I am writing this email due to a week of heĺl which...
I am writing this email due to a week of heĺl which started on January 16th I believe. I had my 2014 Malubu LS towed to your location. So to back up in October of 2019 I was told I needed a Arm Rocker Valve but due to strike could not get the part. I was told that if I started having problems to let the service department know. Okay now to current time on Wednesday the 15th my car started stalling out and dying completely while driving. I had to keep pulling over and rest it then start and go for maybe 10 or 20 minutes until same thing kept happening. So it got towed to you guys again I was told no part for maybe 6 months. Okay fine I was offered a loaner for free and here is my frustration I was told I could not get a loaner due to no credit card in my name. And only a spouse or they would except one from my daughter. I am not married and my daughter is fighting stage 4 Ovarian cancer and she does not have a credit card either. She had already rented a car out of her own pocket from enterprise which I am looking for reimbursement for from either this location or GM itself. I understand policy but sometimes exceptions have to be made. Every situation is not the same by no means. My job my ability to get to my job was all compromised due to this fiasco. I had people who were willing to put there credit cards up on the loaner but still it was not good enough. Yet same person was able to pay my 1300 dollar bill with same credit card I dont get that. So 2000 dollars later my car is running . And the part that I was told service could not get for 6 months my nephew found. SO now I am told it wouldnt be covered under warranty. Either they keep car and wait for GM part and I get loaner oh wait I cant get the loaner so now what I have them fix it out of pocket and they fix it and 20 minutes after pulling away from you guys same thing is happening stalling out in traffic needless to say how dangerous this was. I had to drive like this for two days from Webster to Gates where I work. So I make it there Friday the 24th as soon as you open and now the car needs Fuel injectors and 02 sensor. So you can imagine my frustration. I have nothing but the best things to say about Jamall Cade he was very patient and tried his best to help me. I intended on trading in my car and working with Anne Lakis again who is also incredible but at this point I don't know how I could possibly do business there again. The policy of a loaner car is ridiculous especially in this very unusual circumstance. I felt like I was pushed out of a airplane without a parachute. You may be saying well what do you want us to do I would like for a little variance in the loaner situation. And I would like some kind of compensation for this fiasco. Sincerely Yvonne Schultz. It was quick and Easy. Jordan was always attentive to our needs and wants in a vehicle. He worked to find us one that met all of our expectations. We are very happy with the vehicle and service we received. :)

No help after purchase from certified dealership
We bought A BMW X3 and the salesman gave me 2 key fobs. Unfortunately after a couple weeks we discovered one of the key FOBS did not go to our X3 but rather goes to a BMW 320i that they are still trying to sell. A new key fob for my car will cost $400. I requested they at least pay for half the cost but the manager, Grant refuses. So not only do we have to pay for a new fob but the person who buys the 320i will only have one key because we are not driving to Rochester to return this key fob. If I lose the one and only key fob I own I will not be able to start or drive my X3 so it’s important to have a spare. Make sure you insist on 2 key fobs and make sure they both work before you buy a used car. Lesson learned and we will not return to This dealer.

They are Shysters. Stay clear of this place!
Traverse was making noises from rear. Took the SUV in and they said the rear calipers were not releasing wide enough when not in use wearing down the pads down and causing vibration. Said I was responsible for the repair regardless of still being in warranty because its breaks. The service department assigns you one person to deal with but he avoided me and even had me come get the car after his shift was finished even though it was dropped off the night prior. The other "service" people had attitudes and not very bright. Avoid this dealership at all costs. They are too big to care about their customers and do whats right. Never again. Bob Johnson Chevy is garbage.
