Great service and the staff made things super easy

My fiance and I went in today to get us a used car. The staff is super helpful. Jason looked up the Carfax for the car we were looking at. The General Manager was very friendly and straight forward. Cameron made the financial part of the process super quick. Great place. Great selections.

Honest?

I took one of their 4Runner Sports to a Toyota dealer to have a used car inspection ($150.00) and discovered $6,000 worth of repairs. Including some of the Xreas suspension components had been replaced with normal shocks, disabling the Xreas suspension (which is what makes a Sport a Sport), as well as brakes, CV joints, leaks and the rear window does not operate. No problem, jus fix the issues or reduce the price and I’ll buy it. However they would do neither. They were willing to reduce the price by about $1,000. JTEBU14R38K007452 is listed for $14,995. KBB price $9,689 - $13,254. It is listed at about $1,000 over high book and has $6,000 worth of repairs and they were only willing come down $1,000. If they knew there were problems, why did they let me spend $150.00. If they didn’t know before, they know now, but refuse to accommodate. I think the only other option left for them is to sell the car to someone else at an inflated price and without full discloser. Be careful, they may sell it to YOU! Honest? Tell your friends!

Horrible experience buying my first car

I decided to trust Asay in purchasing my very own first vehicle. The salesman (Jason) was awesome and very helpful throughout the process. With that being said, I believe Asay is in desperate need of new management. The Sales manager, Mr. Sanchez was a complete ass hole about the whole ordeal and made me lose trust in dealerships overall. We were promised floor mats as well as having the car detailed out before we picked it up later in the day. I noticed during the test drive that Asay never bothered cleaning the car from when they got it in on a trade which was completely unprofessional. Upon arriving later in the evening to pay for the car, it was completely filthy still and the only thing they bothered doing was putting tire shine on it. We complained to the finance officer who then called Mr. Sanchez and he informed us that "we were lucky we got floor mats", because they weren't supposed to be promised, and that I could either take the vehicle as is or get lost. I ended up still purchasing the car despite it being dirty because I loved it. I will NEVER ever recommend someone to Asay unless they get new Management because I find it completely unprofessional the way Mr. Sanchez handled the situation and treated us. The overall customer service at the dealership is very unprofessional and I won't be purchasing from them again.

Fees, Fees, and More Fees

Not only was the Vehicle about $1400 over for this type/Market, but the added fees cost them the deal. Not afraid to walk away, and did so.

Did not feel sleazy

Out of the many times I've purchased a used vehicle, often the salesman and dealership felt sleazy and attempted to bait and switch, pressure, shame and use all the other stereotypical tactics they're known for. This did not happen at Asay. The experience there was straight forward, honest, and relaxed. I ended up purchasing a used hyundai that was exactly what I was looking for and expected.

This 2005 Toyota Tacoma looks great, however

it cost me for a Car Fax....wow 2005 Toyota Tacoma has Branded title (Salvage) was in a really bad accident damaging three sides and the bottom. No mention of the Salvage title however, it is priced within the reach of a clean, undamaged 2005 or 6. Be careful with this one. I am out of here.

Sold car while I was purchasing it

We took one of their vehicles to a mechanic to have it inspected. After we returned we began filling out some paperwork to purchase the vehicle. After we filled out the first set of papers we were told we couldn't purchase the vehicle because somebody else had sent a picture of a check which they were intending to use to purchase the same vehicle. The vehicle on their lot that two salesmen offered as an alternative had a salvaged title even though I had said from the beginning that I was only interested in purchasing vehicles clean titles. While I am disappointed that I wasn't able to purchase the vehicle, what angers me the most is that I spent a little over two hours having it looked at and filling out paperwork for them just to have them sell it to someone with a picture of a check. If there was a deposit on the vehicle, why was I allowed to take it, spend money having it looked at and get that far through the process? If there was not a deposit on the vehicle then why wasn't I allowed to finalize my purchase?
