Initial salesman Brian, was great, but unfortunately
Initial salesman Brian, was great, but unfortunately wasn't available when we came in to purchase in the evening. Michael was his replacement and brought out a dirty car for viewing even though he had 6 hours to prepare. Michael is your typical car salesman, who likes to talk about himself. Juan the sales manager was the most unprofessional one I have ever encountered. Making a scene and storming out of the room. Wound up purchasing same vechile at Autonation Hyundai Carlsbad for $500 less. Marcel the salesman cad the car washed in 20 minutes it took us to drive from Escondido to Carlsbad. We were driving home in the new car an hour an a half later. Hyundai if Esondudo is lucky to have Brian, or I would give them no stars.

Always customer oriented; all workers that I encountered were very pleasant. Very clean and spacious waiting area. Nice clean restrooms. And, they always take care of my car so very well.

Took my Hyundai 31st of December, no one informed me
Took my Hyundai 31st of December, no one informed me until I called to find out what’s going on. I was told parts will be in Friday, Friday came no update, Saturday came still no update, Monday came still no update. Called them to follow up only then did they say car was ready. I had my son pick it up Tuesday, they charged him for a spiral cable ($700) . Got home looked at the car the steering wheel control were still broken but they didn’t charge me for it (estimate $600). I called them out of curiosity why they didn’t fix it. Instead of getting an explanation. I was informed that aside from the $700 paid by my son, we owe Hyundai Escondido $600 which would’ve been for repairing the steering wheel control which they never fixed but I had to pay for?! What’s worst I got threatened by Hyundai that they’ll send me to collections?! They’d didn’t fix it and I have to pay for it?! In which universe is that even logical?!

Poor customer service. Those in the service dept do not return calls. And, I still have the same problem that I had when I bought my used 2017 Santa Fe.. Sorry, but the service dept stinks!!
