We were looking at buying a Tesla model X from this

We were looking at buying a Tesla model X from this dealership and after numerous exchanges via text interviewing documents online, we arranged a test drive. After completing the test drive we sat down to discuss the purchase with Layne where in he failed to disclose numerous issues with a car, including that it had a branded title. From there, he utilize shady tactics, including lying outright about neighboring values of the Karr market and the appraisal value of our trade-in, which was 20,000 under KBB and other dealership trade-in values. While in the office, it became a parent that this was a common tactic that they were trying to sell branded title vehicles, as if they had clean titles with no damage history. Highly recommend that you stay far away from this organization, especially this representative.

Nick the manager sold me a car sight unseen and I made

Nick the manager sold me a car sight unseen and I made sure that he was selling me a car that was gone through and in great condition. He told me it was all good. Car shows up and a rim is cracked straight through the spoke. Looking back at the pics he sent me sure enough...there it is. It was wet in the picture ao you couldnt really make it out unless you knew exactly what to look for. He said he would send me out a new rim but that was over three months ago. I've been calling and getting ignored, leaving messages...getting the runaround. Last I talked to him he said he had the rim. Obviously that was a bold lie. He even went as far to send me a shipping label. This is terrible business, straight up lying to customers sending me a car with a safety issue. To get one rim from tesla was 1800. He said he can get one for much cheaper. Well....bought the car in February and it's mid September. Great business practice Kian Motors. Would not recommend. I will say they got me cheap car shipping

They sell primarily Teslas with branded Titles.

They sell primarily Teslas with branded Titles. I did not feel that they were upfront with that. I had to dig and even when I did they did not explicitly call it out and brushed the prior servicing on the car as "silly." Having a branded title is certainly not something any buyer should overlook.

Be very, very careful before you buy a car from these

Be very, very careful before you buy a car from these guys. They tried to slide a deal through on a used Tesla that was a buyback car. They verbally told me that this meant it had a branded title. I saw one checkbox on the financing paperwork indicating the branded title. I almost made a huge mistake because of their extremely skeptical business practices. Their ad said nothing about a branded title. Talk about a scam. Run, don't walk, to a different dealership.

Went in prequalified from my bank only to be told my bank

Went in prequalified from my bank only to be told my bank won’t finance their “branded title” vehicles. Got me approved through their “preferred lender” which is a predatory lender offering extremely high interest rates. Do your research on the VIN numbers before you waste several hours of your day. My rep Layne was great though so I gave them 2 stars.

scoured the internet for 2 years to locate the car that I wanted. Kian motors had the car in their inventory. I took a chance and called Layne Elrod at Kian Motors. Right from the onset he treated me as a close friend and not as a salesman. He made sure every question I had was answered to my satisfaction. He was not pushy but wanted to make sure that I got the right car for the right price. The process of buying my car, having it shipped from Texas to Florida, and finalizing the paperwork and payment was very smooth. all because of Layne Elrod. I have seven daughters and when it comes time for their purchase, they will be calling Layne Elrod at Kian Motors first. All the way a pleasurable and stress free experience.

I contacted Nick on a Friday night about an F150 that I really liked. Not even 12 hours later, I was leaving the parking lot with it! He was awesome and I could not have asked for a better experience. The 5 hour drive was well worth it. Will do business with Kian again!

BUYER BEWARE.

BUYER BEWARE. We were going to purchase a 2023 I was going to purchase a Model Y Tesla at a below average price (warning 1). The salesman was really nice. When we asked if we could get a lower price, he explained they were the lowest price for that car on the market and he was correct (warning 2). The salesman emailed the PO to our bank and what came back was a bombshell. The bank explained the car we were going to purchase for 33K had a lemon/branded title. Meaning something was wrong with the vehicle. When we asked the sales rep, he did not deny the issue, he explained that a previous owner of the vehicle said something was wrong with it and Tesla fixed the issue (warning 3). You can not have a lemon/branded title, unless it is deemed unsafe and salvaged according to the state of Texas. The real problem is the Carfax report did not mention any of these issues. I would NOT deal with this dealership again because of their deceptive practices. Make sure you pay for an Experian vehicle report to get the real information about the vehicle. The only reason we avoided the bombshell is because our bank said they could not finance the car because it was a lemon. This is also true for many fly by night dealerships. If it is not a reputable dealer, DONOT get into a transaction with them unless you are sure you will not mind paying the consequences, which could be costly.
