I bought a car from Travis, a week later the transmission started slipping. 3 professional shops said it needed rebuilt or replaced, a 3500 dollar minimum job. Travis did not care that buying this car from him, which needed major repairs a week later was going to cost me my job and ruin my life. His initial response was that he had a contract and I still owed him 1100 dollars. He offered to pay half the price of a fluid change which all 3 shops said would be a waste of money. He did not sell me a reliable car and did not act with integrity about the situation or try to find any resolution that wouldn't leave me out 5600 dollars and still without a car to get to work. Buying a car from Travis ruined my life

About a month ago we purchased a car from here. It is worth mentioning a few years ago we purchased a work van that had it's issues but nothing too major issues. So we picked a very clean mint condition suv. Test drove it, was told it was in great condition and fell in love. Took it home and less than two days later on my way home from a close store run it jerked and the check engine light came on. Took it to a mechanic and was told the oil was essentially bleeding right out and that there was no way the seller didn't know. So about 3,000$ later it was fixed. Calling Travis auto to let them know ment nothing to them. Just an empty "sorry". Just B.S. he had the nerves to say it was a one owner, well I pulled the car fax and it had about 5 owners... Just stay away unless you want to pay to fix it less than a week later...

BOUGHT AND PD FOR 2000 CHEVY SILV PD WITH AM EX INSTANT CASH, OWNER HAD HIS MONEY AND WANTED TO HOLD TRUCK FOR FOUR OR FIVE DAYS HAD CAR HAULER ON WAY HAD TO PAY FOR THAT, TOLD HIM TO HOLD TITLE THAT WAS NOT GOOD ENOUGH, WANTED TO HOLD CASH PAYMENT AND TRUCK, A TOTAL JERK IF HE DOES NOT KNOW WHAT A CREDIT CARD IS THEN HE SHOULD NOT TAKE THEM!!!!!!!! DO NOT BUY FROM TRAVIS AUTOMOTIVE IN TENN!!!!!!!!! TOLD HIM TO REFUND MONEY AND KEEP HIS TRUCK 72 YEARS OLD RETIRED USAF, HE MADE ME FEEL LIKE A CROOK, HE IS THE CROOK BE CAREFUL

I got a 2003 xterra from them a couple years ago and it’s still going! They helped me get approved even with bad credit. I’m planning on purchasing another car from them in the next couple days

My daughter bought a van from Travis automotive three weeks after she got it she went in to get a front and alignment and her frame is rusted and half. It is unsafe to drive and Travis motors refuses to fix anything
