Service and workers were trash! Everyone should know that the Golden Rule in life is to "treat people the way you want to be treated." One typically learns that as a kid! It's simple, yet a bunch of grown men can't seem to understand it. I originally went to the service department for a RECALL. I was called and told that I needed 940.00 worth of work done. I was a bit confused, considering I had just visited the maintenance department five days prior and was sent home with a report stating that everything was good. I eventually declined after agreeing because it was simply not in my budget plan. After dealing with a certain advisor, I became upset because I dropped my car off at 7:30 a.m. and told him later on that day that I would need my car by the end of the day. (before they closed) He let me know he would let the workers know to reach a stopping point by 6:00 p.m. He never called me back; they ended up closing, and I was left without a car. I picked it up the next day, about 8:00 a.m. No one could tell me if the work was completed on the vehicle or not. I proceed to make an appointment with the service manager (David Pryor), explaining to him the situation. I quickly understood why his workers are the way they are. Let's say a boss should set the standard. I will never go back to Bob Utter Ford in Sherman. They have no respect for me, and I will gladly take my money elsewhere. The manager ended up giving me a coupon for a "free oil change." In which he could have kept, because it wasn't really about the money, but the TREATMENT and the trying to get over on me. The service advisor had no business trying to sell me tires while acting as if I needed unnecessary work. The service manager said that himself. That company should treat its LOYAL customers better!

I found the car I wanted online at the Bob Utter
I found the car I wanted online at the Bob Utter dealership. They responded Very quickly to my inquiry. The salesman I worked with, Matt O was very communicative and when he didn’t know the answer, he would get back to me quickly after inquiring with someone that did. I would have given them five stars, but they wouldn’t manage any of the financing for me because I was buying from California and couldn’t come to the dealership for paperwork. They agreed to sell me the car but I had to come with all of my own financing. This prohibited me from getting the additional discount from Kia financing. So although this wasn’t ideal for me, they were very professional and kind throughout the transaction. Upon arriving in Texas, they brought the car to me at the airport. Which was fantastic considering I was going to be in TX for a week. I appreciate all they did but I would just like to see them update their process to include DocuSign so the financing would be easier and more streamlined for those of us buying from out of town so we don’t miss out on opportunities for discounts.

I found my Kia Sportage Hybrid on line.
I found my Kia Sportage Hybrid on line. It was the exact color and package I wanted. I got in touch with a salesman (KC Reed) and he was very respectful, efficient and professional. Four days later we drove from south Arkansas and purchased our new Sportage. The salesman, the financial expert and the technical expert guided us through every step. I couldn’t be more pleased❣️ I HIGHLY recommend Bob Utter Kia of Sherman, TX.

WORST SERVICE DEPARTMENT
If I could give ZERO STARS I would!!!! This service department is a joke!!!! We brought our vehicle in for the sunroof not working, which was covered under warranty. The service department had our vehicle for almost 3 months!!! They lost and broke parts, so they had to wait for those parts to come in. Then when we finally get our vehicle back......the headline pillar panels are covered in grease from the technicians' hands. The service manager ended up ordering a new headliner but not the pillars (which are still dirty). We picked up our vehicle on Friday......and noticed the dirty pillars and gashes in the steering wheel. I called to address the issues with the service manager and he got an attitude about it with me. Told me "this has been a nightmare to deal with." For WHO??? Almost every time we have picked up our vehicle, more damage has been done to it than the last time. We have been nothing but kind and understanding with them until now. We will be hiring an attorney. Our vehicle is a 2021 Kia Sorento.

If you want to be priced gouged this is place for you. Asking several thousand over MSRP and calling it a market adjustment. If you want a KIA for MSRP and DOC fee buy form Ferguson KIA in Broken Arrow Oklahoma.

Great Experience!
Dale was great as a salesperson! Very personable and fun to deal with! Very knowledgeable and no high pressure! Finance guy was very nice and easy to deal with. Danny the tech guy was very informative and patient when showing me all the features on my new car. If you want or need a new car...check them out!!!

Knew what I wanted on entry, salesman (Mike) zeroed in and showed me exactly what I was looking for, then had delivered next day from another dealer so I could get color I wanted! Financial assistance was great, in and out on pick-up day in record time. Great deal, great service----LOVE my car!
