The experience that I had with Karp Volvo last week was extraordinary! I was welcomed by David taken care of from beginning to end with incredible warmth and respect. I felt like I was the only valued Volvo customer of the day! It was truly an enjoyable pleasant experience.

Not Honorable, changed deal at last minute to the tune of
Not Honorable, changed deal at last minute to the tune of over a $1000, telling me i got the numbers wrong. I was with 2 other people and we all heard the same thing. Manager Frank told me i was wrong, he wouldn't sell me a car at a loss so he added a bogus charge and admitted it was bogus but would not remove it He was rude in my opinion and basically called me a liar without actually saying your a liar. I would stay away from this dealership and always get your deal in writing with a signature from management!

This is based on the experience I had July 8 with the service department. I live in Bayside Queens and bought my TWO 2021 XC40 at Karp. I have always serviced my cars at this dealership even though it is over 45 minute drive from my home. Today I brought one of my cars in for the final complimentary service and the experience was horrible. The car was TWO hours late past the time I was told. The service manager Mark N treated me the worst way possible. When I told him I bought my TWO CARS at Karp and I come out of my way to come here. This was his response “I DON’T CARE IF YOU BOUGHT 10 CARS HERE”. He then turned his back and walked away!! Great customer service!!! I am so taken back that I have to let all know that this is horrible treatment!!

Terrible service
We have had nothing but problems since our fantastic PURCHASE experience. We had a vibration at highway speed on our XC40 B5 with 20 inch wheels. Do yourself a favor a google this issue pre-purchase and read the pages of people stating this problem. There is no fix. We have spent months dealing with Karp and they have used bait and switch tactics and wasted our time. No one should have to buy a 50k car that vibrates on the highway. This is OUR experience, of course. But I have no doubt that it will be yours buying this car from this dealer. Simply read their service reviews. I wish we had. Their terrible service prevents people from being lifelong Volvo customers. That's such a shame.
