Potential buyers beware.
Potential buyers beware. This place falsely advertises cheaper car prices online and then jacks up the price when you go in to purchase the vehicle. I found a vehicle listed on their website for $32,999 and called in to check it's availability and it's price. I talked to 2 different sales people which both verified the sales price of $32,999. The next day I drove 3.5 hours to the dealership from Austin to test drive the vehicle and noticed damage on the front bumper that was not documented on the listing or reported by the sales person over the phone when asked. I also noticed during the test drive that the vehicle had a flashing battery symbol on the dash symbolizing an issue with the 12 v battery system. Furthermore, the automatic rear hatch would not function and had to me manually opened and closed. They said they would get these issues fixed no problem. We then proceeded inside to take care of the financing and the sales guy brings back the paperwork from the Finance manager with an out the door price of $52,000. The vehicle price had changed from $32,999 to $44,500 and they added $5995 of "Accessories". When I asked the finance manager about the accessories and for him to be more specific, he said that $3995 covers the dealer handling and bumper to bumper inspection. They clearly never did an inspection with there being a battery issue and the automatic hatch not functioning at all. This place is a joke and clearly needs a change in management. They rip people off with price gouging fees and forcing people to pay for exterior and interior "protectant" which is just cleaning it when they receive it from auction. Dealerships that use bait and switch tactics should be shut down for good.

I had a very disappointing experience with this
I had a very disappointing experience with this dealership. I test-drove a car, negotiated a price, and even paid for an independent pre-purchase inspection — during which I found some issues that the dealer acknowledged and verbally committed to fixing. We were in active communication about finalizing the purchase. However, without any notice, they sold the car to someone else. This kind of behavior is incredibly unprofessional and shows a lack of basic integrity and respect for serious buyers. I understand cars are in demand, but if a dealership agrees on a price and makes verbal commitments, the least they can do is honor them — or notify the customer if things change. Based on this experience and their poor communication, I can’t recommend this dealership to others. Save yourself the time and stress. I also noticed several online reviews describing similar treatment of other customers — unfortunately, my experience was no different.

This is the worst car buying experience I have ever made
This is the worst car buying experience I have ever made very the very start. They do not care about their customers or helping at all. I purchased a truck from them for my son a couple months ago. That in it self was not pleasant. But my son really liked the truck. I financed through my own bank and they were wired the money the day I picked up the truck. 3 weeks before the temp tag started to expire I called to check on the hard plates and the lady that answered the phone said she sees we paid in full on the truck but that they never sent the title and paperwork to the DMV and would look into it and call me back. So red flag there. I got busy and realized several days had past and I hadn't heard anything so I called again and the person that answered the phone said they fired that previous person as she was lieing to people and that she will give my info to her supervisor Tehya Morgan and would have her call me back. Days went by and still never got a call. So again I called that same person said she gave Tehya the messages and would make sure she called as she could not assist me and that they are low staffed. Well now my temp tag is over a week expired and still no actual help. I did actually get Tehya on the phone yesterday and she said it I sent her my current insurance card she would go to the DMV and get a new 30 temp tag for me and that her supervisor was conveniently in a meeting so she would have to call me back about my plates status. We here we are on a new day. No new temp tag, they put me on hold for 30 mins then wouldn't answer any of my calls and won't answer my emails. I guess the next thing I will have to do is go hire an attorney as all of this sounds fishy and something is not right. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM

We recently bought a vehicle from Wells Auto Group and
We recently bought a vehicle from Wells Auto Group and had a great experience—especially thanks to Carrien. We drove 2.5 hours to check out a car and were hopeful it would be worth the trip. Thankfully, it absolutely was. Carrien was upfront, honest, and refreshingly not pushy—definitely not your typical car salesman. After we finalized the paperwork, we pointed out a few issues we hadn’t noticed. We were a bit concerned and kicked ourselves for not noticing beforehand, but he promised to make them right. True to his word, he replaced the windshield and took care of some paint chips without hesitation. The entire process felt smooth and transparent. We really appreciate the integrity and follow-through. Highly recommend Wells Auto Group—and definitely ask for Carrien!

Purchasr 2/12/2024 & Had a great deal on a 2015 Ram 1500
Purchasr 2/12/2024 & Had a great deal on a 2015 Ram 1500 ecodiesel Laramie. Had vehicle shipped to me and same day the check engine light came on. Called for two day to no avail. Finally on third day, I was able to speak to the service department. They told me to take to a dealer. Dealer called next day and said $6k in engine repairs. Mind you these are old codes not new codes. Wells auto group told me basically - "sorry about your bad luck". I did not purchase a warranty and they could do nothing. The whole DEF system had to be replaced. I wasn't asking for them to replace it. I asked for them to even help cover some of the cost. Let's just say I never got a call back.

I am unsure where to begin, but I will strive to be
I am unsure where to begin, but I will strive to be succinct. My experience with My Phung, the salesperson at Wells Auto Group, was quite positive; she was very friendly and helpful during our phone conversations. I specifically asked her if there were any issues with the car, such as dents or damages, and she assured me that there were none. Since I purchased the vehicle from overseas, I was unable to inspect it in person before the purchase. Unfortunately, when my BMW X6 arrived, I discovered that all four tires were completely bald and unsafe for driving. Additionally, there was a dent on the front passenger quarter panel that was not disclosed to me, and the rear cargo lid cover was missing. To complicate matters, the battery died two months after I received the car, and the windshield had been replaced without recalibrating the front camera, resulting in an error message every time I drive. I have spoken with several representatives at Wells Auto Group (Arti), including the Sales Manager, Shawn, who assured me that I would be reimbursed for the tires and the dent in the vehicle. They also informed me that they would send me the trunk lid cover, which I finally received just a few days ago. However, I am still waiting for the reimbursement check. I have been calling daily for nearly four months to check on the status of my refund, but Shawn has been unresponsive, consistently sending my calls to voicemail. I have also been sending weekly emails to Shawn to inquire about the progress of my refund, but I have not received any updates since February 2025. My experience with Wells Auto Group has been a complete nightmare. I am determined to continue calling them every day until I receive reimbursement for the tires and the now-defunct battery. It feels as though I was sold a defective vehicle, so I urge others to exercise caution when dealing with Wells Auto Group. I will keep everyone updated on the status of my refund check and hope for a resolution soon.

My purchase experience of a Porsche Cayman was first
My purchase experience of a Porsche Cayman was first rate. Andrew, my sales assistant was most helpful in every way to make buying from WAG a pleasure. Shaun, the GM met my asking price on my trade in and moved the process along quickly. Erik, processed the paper work without any effort to sell me any extra plans. I bought a great Porsche at a price that was below market value. I know you will be well treated, as I was, by this team of professionals. Do what I did, get beyond the reviews and go in and meet these people and I bet you will be glad you did! Jeff K

TERRIBLE TERRIBLE TERRIBLE.
TERRIBLE TERRIBLE TERRIBLE. Not sure how this dealership has such high ratings, other than buying loads of fake reviews. If I could give them 0 stars, I would. Do not come to this dealership thinking that "maybe those bad reviews are limited and my service will be great." You will be sorely mistaken. I found a truck that I wanted to purchase from Wells, scheduled a test drive, and showed up the next morning to find the truck waiting for me. Pleasant experience so far, however, before starting the test drive, I noticed a puddle of coolant, which was leaking from the upper radiator hose. I made a mental note and turned on the truck to find an Adaptive Steering Fault light up on the dash. The rest of the test drive went well, so I returned to the dealer to let them know about the issues I found, and to express my interest in purchasing the truck if the repairs were made beforehand. My salesperson told me that we could start the purchasing paperwork so that they would hold the truck for me. Given the poor KBB dealer reviews, I was skeptical and told them I wanted the truck, but did not feel comfortable selling them my trade in and leaving on the "promise" that the work would be performed. The finance rep that I was working with asked if I would feel comfortable putting down a small deposit on the truck, to let them know I was serious about the purchase, and that with my deposit, the work would be started, I would be informed every step of the way, and could come back in upon completion of the repairs to purchase the truck. After making the deposit and leaving the dealership for the day, I never received any communication from Wells. I was able to reach their service department through their main line, and the lead tech told me on 4-15 that the last remaining repair part had arrived at the shop and was being installed, and that I should get a call by end of day. I never got that call. Instead, the truck got marked down $2000 on their website inexplicably, and this morning the truck was sold. Not quite sure what my deposit was for then. I reached back out to the dealership about reclaiming my deposit, and they have now gone radio silent on me. Complete joke of a dealership. DO NOT ATTEMPT TO PURCHASE A VEHICLE HERE. THIS IS THE STEREOTYPICAL DEFINITION OF A SHADY USED-CAR DEALERSHIP.

Thanks to everyone's bad reviews, I was going to go to
Thanks to everyone's bad reviews, I was going to go to this dealer to purchase a vehicle I saw but as a result of the reviews, I refuse to deal with any nitemares. All the bad reviews do have a lot in common, the dealer refuses to acknowledge any fault, selling bad, or disfunctional vehicles that may possibly not even pass inspection deserves to be reported for selling lemon vehicles. There is a Lemon Law.
