Established text communication, came to price agreement. Lined up financing, bought airline tickets for pickup. Car sold out from under me. Said he emailed me when all communication done through texts except for CARFAX.

I live out of state, and was nervous about buying an out-of-state car. Peter was incredibly knowledgeable, the car was simply fantastic, and it’s been over two years now. Easiest people to deal with ever! Will definitely buy from them again.

Anyone who knows me, knows how much I hate buying cars. They also know that I rarely write reviews. Despite that, my recent purchase from Dan Martins Auto Depot makes me what to share my experience. Our 1998 V70 served us well for the past 20 years, but had some issues that would prevent it from passing NYS inspection. I decided to look at possible replacements. Initially, I was thinking about picking up a 2-3 year old car, but wasn’t crazy about the current styles. Looking on-line, I happened upon a 2007 V70 at Dan Martins that looked like it checked all of the boxes. The mileage was low for its age, the condition seemed perfect, it appeared to be well maintained, and the long roof wagon provided lots of room for our two dogs. I don’t make car buying decisions very fast, so I mulled it over for a while before contacting Dan Martins about its availability (and asking my wife for permission to consider it). Peter promptly replied and sent me a link with loads of pictures that clearly showed the car’s condition. He told me that they had carefully gone over the car and what parts they replaced. The free CarFax showed that the car had been carefully maintained by its previous two owners. The ‘problem’?—I live about 300 miles away from Yonkers, outside Rochester, NY. I toyed with taking the bus or train down to Yonkers to see it and possibly drive it back. Peter was so easy to deal with, that I had confidence to buy the car, without seeing it in person. I wired the money, Peter found a very reasonable shipper to truck it to me, and a few days later, the car was in my driveway. The car was exactly as described, if not better. I feel like I have a new car, at a fraction of the cost. I told Peter, that he made the entire sales process to be as easy as buying something on Amazon. After buying this car, I may not wait another 20 years to buy my next. I highly recommend, without hesitation, Dan Martins Auto Depot and especially, Peter. For me, it was a welcome change to the car buying experience.

Purchased a 60th Anniversary Saab 2007 Combiwagon station wagon. The car was in immaculate condition. Peter truly cares about each car he sells. A real old school craftsman. I highly recommend his dealership.

The car was clean just as it was advertised. Peter was courteous and accommodating. The buying process was very quick. The dealership processes all paperwork timely and provides same day plates.

Purchased a beautiful Saab 93 from Peter. Very pleasant and patient man. Discovered a couple of problems with the car after the sale that were out of his hands and has been good on his word and fixed them. Highly recommended.

Friendly, knowledgeable, no pressure, easy. All the things that are usually missing when you buy a car are present with Peter making this a great experience.

We have owned Saab convertibles as a second car since the 1980's (about 5 since then) and are familiar with their safety and reliability. Safety was a key aspect as the most recent one was totaled in an accident with 3 of our grand kids as passengers. No one was hurt. So we are glad that Peter has specialized in these models and we found a good replacement in excellent condition. Peter was very helpful and had everything ready for pick up. I don't normally take the time to fill out reviews but I really felt I should since I am so happy with my 2009 Saab 9-3 2.0T I bought from Peter. I looked around on Cars.com and found that Dan Martin's Auto Depot had much better prices and much nicer used vehicles and a better selection. Thanks again Peter!!
