Good pricing and professionalism made all the difference once I found a great used SUV at Capilano Volkswagen - a barely driven 2021 Audi Q5. Our sales rep RJ was friendly, knowledgeable and straight up throughout the negotiations, and the on site insurance agent was second to none. Haven’t looked at the market quite carefully, I felt the purchase price was pretty reasonable. I traded in a 2017 Ford Escape and together with the tax savings on the trade value, I felt it wasn’t worthwhile trying to sell it myself. In other words, the trade-in value was very fair. This would’ve been the end of it but there’s a twist! Two weeks later, my sister and brother-in-law were in a head-on collision with an out-of-control truck that totalled their car but fortunately left her them with only relatively minor injuries. After a diligent search both on Vancouver Island and on the mainland, and hoping for a different brand, they decided to purchase the 2017 Ford Escape (!!) I had traded in. Cap Volks had meanwhile replaced the battery (quite labour-intensive on this vehicle), plus the windshield and the brake fluid, as well as doing tire rotation and magically removing a couple of dimples from the body. RJ provided a full inspection report showing everything was in good order, and was then able to shave enough off the price to make it a competitive and compelling buy for my frugal relatives. My sister and brother-in-law were thrilled with their experience and RJ’s personal touch, communicating the family values that RJ says are the dealership’s approach to its customers. I would highly recommend RJ and Capilano Volkswagen to anyone shopping new or quality used.

It was an excellent experience all round. From Gary to Landen, to Sam in Finance it was a smooth transition and positive experience in purchasing the ID 4 Pro. From the trade in allowance to accessing rebates it was all good. We will recommend to friends and family.
