At the end of September I purchased a car from Adam, he was wonderful, delivered the car to me and took my old one off my hands. He also promised to mail me a paint pen to cover some scratches on the vehicle. (didn't receive it). It is now the middle of December and the transmission is slipping and the front bearings need to be replaced. I contacted him as I don't believe I should be having these issues after 2 1/2 months of owning a car I now have to pay 7 years for. I did purchase the extended warranty and most of the transmission will be covered but the bearings will cost me over $700 to replace and he is not willing to help me cover the cost. I have looking into consumer protection and I have a legal right to expect a used car to be "Safe and Suitable for Transportation" which this car is not. DO NOT PURCHASE A CAR FROM THIS COMPANY. BCCARS.CA will do everything they can to get the sale, go above and beyond to help you....until you own the car. Then you're on your own. I did try to resolve this with them and they are now refusing to speak to me at all. BEWARE OF THIS DEALER.

BCS Auto: Reinforcing the Disreputable Stereotype

I am quite disappointed and outraged to a certain extent by my experience with BCS Auto, specifically with the sales representative, Christy Buck-Hutchins. My encounter with this used car dealership has left me feeling cheated and taken advantage of, as I ended up paying over $2000 more than the fair price for the car I purchased. Although I was dealing with Michael Huang (who I would recommend if you ever have to go to BCS, provided you know the car and price), Christy overshadowed him and employed deceptive tactics, incessantly bombarding me with reasons to buy the car. She incessantly talked, leaving me with no opportunity to think and consider my options. Through her manipulative and misleading tactics, she craftily planted the idea in my mind that finding a car within my budget was an insurmountable challenge, while simultaneously emphasizing that the car I was considering was the sole viable option. Regrettably, I succumbed to her relentless pressure and made a decision I now deeply regret. I strongly advise anyone considering BCS Auto to stay far away from Christy, as she will do everything in her power to deceive, lie, and cheat you into paying a significantly higher rate. When I brought my concerns to Shawn Jamieson, the Sales General Manager, he justified the price by saying that there were other factors that also came into effect but that did not explain why newer models of the same car with lower kms cost less than what I paid. Although he did ‘acknowledge’ the discrepancy in what I paid and the selling rate by offering a small rebate ($400) towards buying snow tires, this was nothing compared to the amount I paid. Shockingly, he was unwilling to honor the original agreement. This blatant disregard for customer satisfaction and fairness only further exacerbated my frustration and disappointment with the dealership. My negative experience with BCS auto extended beyond the sales process, as I encountered an unprofessional financial representative, Ramin, during the paperwork stage. He rushed me through the signing process, preventing me from reviewing the documents before signing them. His agitation was palpable when I took the time to read through the paperwork and request corrections for the mistakes he had made. Furthermore, he needlessly presented me with various interest rates, failing to provide me with the best available rate, which was already excessively high. The overall lack of integrity and respect shown by BCS Auto has left me with a strong aversion towards recommending their services to anyone. It is crucial to enter into dealings with this dealership with a clear understanding of what you are looking for and the accurate price of the desired vehicle. Negotiate and secure your purchase, but under no circumstances should you seek advice or guidance from BCS Auto, as it will undoubtedly result in a costly and regrettable mistake. I sincerely hope that my unfortunate experience serves as a warning to others, preventing them from enduring the same mistreatment and financial loss that I have suffered at the hands of BCS Auto. Regrettably, BCS Auto lives up to the negative reputation commonly associated with car dealerships in North America.

Gaius, thank you for taking the time to write a review and share your vehicle purchasing experience with BCS Auto Sales. It's our goal to provide the utmost in a purchasing experience and I'm sorry to read that you felt you did not receive one. It's quite obvious to all who may read your review that you are an intelligent and articulate person. In meeting with you in person (more on that later), I also found you to be studious and able to make a well informed decision. As you state Christy "overshadowed you and employed deceptive tactics, increasingly bombarding you with reasons to buy the car, leaving you with no opportunity to think or consider your options" and that's why you purchased the vehicle. You felt pressured into it? She was simply inquiring as to what your motoring needs were in order to help you find the vehicle to suit your needs and budget. Let's be clear, your concerns were not that Christy forced you into purchasing a vehicle, your concerns were that you felt you paid too much. In speaking with you over the phone and via text (while I was on holidays), you had sent me what you considered to be comparable vehicles at a lower price point to justify a $2000 rebate. The vehicles you sent, were either older versions of what you purchased, higher mileage than what you purchased or comparable with accident history. In speaking with you, and I'm sure you recall me saying this to you, the lowest priced vehicle isn't always a better deal. All of our vehicles go through a thorough independent vehicle inspection, full servicing and professional detailing, prior to being offered for sale. In no circumstance at all, will we sell a vehicle without performing this process. In the interest of client satisfaction, I did say I would look into some type of rebate. You mentioned you would be satisfied with a complete set of winter tires as you would be moving to the interior in the fall. Being the time of year that it is, winter tires are in short supply. I offered you a $400 rebate and said you are able to obtain a set of tires at dealer cost pricing from our vendors, when winter tires are available. You then asked me to adjust the rebate to $500 and you would look after tires on your own. After reviewing with the ownership group, our offer of $400 was final. You then asked for $450 and we settled on $400 and a cheque was processed for you. We met in person when you picked you the cheque. In speaking with you, you reiterated your purchasing experience with me. Other than your dealings with Christy and thinking you paid too much for the vehicle, (which we discussed each listing you sent to me in detail) you more than happily took the rebate cheque. You also mentioned you may write a review and share your experience. True to your word, you did, which is why I'm replying in detail. Since 1985, our goal has been and always will be to deliver quality vehicles at fair market pricing. We ensure all of our staff are properly certified by the local governing body to sell vehicles properly and ethically. In no circumstances will BCS Auto Sales compromise our integrity. I too am a man of my word and will still honor my offer you you to utilize our vendors and receive winter tires at our dealer cost price. On behalf of the entire team here at BCS Auto Sales Gaius, we wish you all the best with your upcoming endeavors. Respectfully, Shawn Jamieson General Sales Manager
